Words cannot express the gratitude I have in working with such extraordinary individuals at Country Lane Manor in Keosauqua. The staff, residents, loved ones and SE Iowa Community as a whole have offered great support and encouragement as we continue this journey of service excellence. I served here as a CNA/CMA 30 years ago for 5 years. Since then, I have obtained a Master's Degree in HealthCare Administration and served as Administrator/Executive Director and/or Regional support for companies such as Good Samaritan, Cassia and Wesley Life. The facilities I've worked with have celebrated recognition in excellence that include but are not limited to deficiency-free surveys, CMS 5-stars, the Governor's Award, and much more. My family and I recently moved "back home" to Van Buren County where our roots are. I am blessed to be able to apply this experience where it all began.
My siblings and I grew up in Birmingham. My husband, Larry, grew up in Bonaparte. Larry served in the National Guard and as a local volunteer fireman. My in-laws and parents have served the community most of their lives. My Grandpa Percy, then my father, Larry, owned the Slonaker Phillips 66 gas station in Birmingham shown here.
