🧸💜 Help Support Our VBCH Babble Group and the Daycare!

Our daycare is always working to create a fun, safe and engaging environment for the children in our care—and you can help!

We’ve created an Amazon Wish List with items that will be put to great use by our daycare. Every purchase, big or small, helps provide new toys, learning activities and supplies for our kids.

🛒 Check out our Amazon Wish List and consider sending a little something their way! Link here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/28VR9I77F5H0B?ref_=wl_share

OR- if you want to provide a larger donation we are looking to fund a new playground in the next year! Learn more about that here: https://vbch.networkforgood.com/projects/301142-vbch-childcare-center-playground

Thank you for supporting our daycare and the families we serve at VBCH! 💜

☀️ Late Summer Heat Is Still Here!

Even as summer winds down, hot temperatures can still pose a risk. VBCH reminds everyone to stay hydrated, take breaks in the shade or air conditioning, wear lightweight clothing and never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle.

Watch for signs of heat exhaustion, including dizziness, headache, nausea and heavy sweating.

Stay cool, stay hydrated and stay safe! 💧

September is Su***de Prevention & Awareness Month, an opportunity to strengthen connections, share trusted resources and encourage conversations about mental health.

Checking in with someone, listening with care and helping them connect with professional support can be important steps. If you or someone you know is experiencing suicidal thoughts or emotional distress, call or text 988. In an immediate, life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Van Buren County Hospital’s Senior Life Solutions program supports older adults with group therapy, individual counseling, and personalized care designed to meet them where they are. If you or someone you love needs support, we are here to help.
