Mobile health work can feel solitary. You're often the only program like yours for a hundred miles, making calls without much to compare against.

But the answers are out there. They're sitting with other program leaders who've already been through it and are happy to share, you just have to be in the room with them.

That's the heart of what Dennis Wagner teaches: one good thing leads to another.

A conversation turns into an idea, an idea turns into a stronger program, a stronger program turns into more care reaching people who need it.

Mobile healthcare teams do a lot of problem-solving on their own.

But when people come together to learn and share, the work gets easier. Ideas get passed along. Contacts get exchanged. Somebody's three-year headache becomes somebody else's ten-minute fix.

That's the heart of this community! Practical knowledge, shared freely, between people who understand the work.

Ask five people what stood out at the Summit and you’ll get five different answers.

That’s kind of the whole point.

Someone came for the executive labs and left with a scaling plan they’d been circling for a year.

Someone came for the keynote and left with a page of notes they’ve already read three times.

Someone came for one specific conversation with one specific person and got it, plus four more they didn’t expect.

Two days at The Conference Center at GTCC. Exemplar presentations. A fireside chat. Hands-on labs covering revenue, sustainability, population health, and building teams that hold together.

Dr. John C. Maxwell on day two, challenging a room full of leaders to move past knowing and into doing.

And then the part no agenda can schedule: the hallway, the lunch table, the parking lot at the end of day one.

Mobile healthcare is a big field made of a lot of small teams.

Two days a year, it doesn’t feel small at all.

Summit week is here, and one of the best parts is the range of people who show up for it.

The UNC Greensboro School of Nursing brought faculty, nurse leadership, and a student from their program.

Dr. Tiffany Gibson spoke about Minerva's Mobile Health UNCG and what it takes to build the capacity to reach people right where they are.

Congratulations to our newest certified mobile health operators! 🎓

There's something special about watching a group of people who are already out there doing hard, meaningful work take the time to get even better at it.

That's exactly what this week's certification class did.

We had folks join us from The Reach Project, INC & Reach Medical PLLC, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Morse Clinics, UF Health, Roper St. Francis Healthcare, and Appalachian Mountain Health, all of them dedicated to bringing healthcare to the communities that need it most.

Two physician assistants. One mission. A whole community with better access to care.

Ana Ruiz-Peña, PhD, PA-C, MHA, and Karla Rugamas, PA-C, MCHS, co-founded Vida Mobile Clinic to bring free primary care to uninsured and unhoused neighbors across the San Fernando Valley, from primary care to a foot clinic for people experiencing homelessness.

And they don't stop at patient care.

Vida also mentors future healthcare providers, giving students real, hands-on experience serving their own communities.

Care that comes to people. Doors opened for the next generation. That's mobile health at its best, and it's the kind of work that makes this whole movement stronger.
