The Dog Days of Summer are one of the best times to begin building the reserves that will support us through winter.
In Chinese medicine, this high-summer window is known as San Fu Tian and carries the principle of treating winter illness in summer.
This means tending now to the coughs, congestion, frequent colds, low energy, and other patterns that tend to return during the darker months.
It is an idea that feels deeply aligned with Nature Cure and with us at CURA.
Health is built across seasons, and this feels like a lovely invitation to direct some of summer’s yang energy toward our winter health.
Over the next few weeks, can the emphasis be on replenishing rather than depleting?
We're thinking nourishing meals, ginger and mineral-rich broths, herbal hydration, cell salts, gentle movement, and rest that honors your capacity.
We’ll be sharing more seasonal practices inside the CURA Community.
