Feel the air fill your lungs and hold it in for a few seconds before releasing it. Still your beating heart, that it will slow down and calm itself. When you find yourself stressed or panicked, it is your body and mind telling you to slow down and focus on calming yourself down. This too shall pass. 🍃

Tarot Card of the Day: Reversed Hermit

You’ve been isolating yourself from the world a little too much, feeling lonely and missing the signs to do some personal reflection. Solitude is healthy for reclaiming peace and calmness within one’s mind but it can start to deteriorate the psyche when one is disconnected from the world around them. Humans need connection with others to keep themselves aligned with morality and to keep their subconscious from being too overbearing. Taking the time to personally reflect on our hidden thoughts and repressed portions of ourselves is a healthy step in maintaining inner balance but don’t lose yourself in it. Shadow work and reflecting on why we feel the need to disconnect from reality helps us gain closer understanding about ourselves and our needs but don’t forget that Light work is also needed to balance your personal growth and emotional healing. Extended isolation can cause one to lose touch with reality thus pushing them further away from the people and things they love most. Start small, reconnect with a family member or friend you’ve lost touch with from isolating yourself for too long or get back to your roots with a hobby you took a very long break from. Taking breaks from people or pastimes is okay but don’t be away for too long because then you will start to lose yourself in a sea of thoughts and emotions. 🌙
