THANK YOU, 100 MEN WHO CARE! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for the amazing outpouring of support from 100 Men Who Care for The Crisis Hotline and the work we do throughout the Wood River Valley.

For nearly 40 years, our community has made it possible for us to answer the call when someone needs connection, hope, or simply another person willing to listen through only donations & grants.

Today, that work reaches far beyond the phone through prevention, education, community partnerships, and Neighbors Helping Neighbors / Vecinos Apoyando Vecinos—meeting people where they are and building connection before stress becomes crisis.

The generous financial support from 100 Men Who Care is an investment that reaches even further. Every $100 invested in The Crisis Hotline is leveraged through volunteer service, community partnerships, and collaborative funding to create approximately $200 in community impact.

But this gift represents more than dollars.

It tells us that you see this work.
You believe in local solutions.
You believe in prevention.
And you believe in the power of neighbors caring for neighbors.

To Marty Lyon, every member of 100 Men Who Care, and your families: THANK YOU for believing in The Crisis Hotline and helping us build the next 40 years of this important work.

$778,520 dollars donated to local charities since 2013. “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed individuals can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”-Margaret Mead About UsFounded by Marty Lyon of Lyon Landscape Architects in 2013 inspired by a quote fro...

💚 Leave a Little Hope Behind 💚

Hope doesn't always come from grand gestures. Sometimes, it's found in the small moments—a kind word, a thoughtful text, a helping hand, or simply taking the time to listen.

This week, challenge yourself to leave a little hope behind wherever you go. You never know how much a small act of kindness might mean to someone who needs it.

What is one way you'll share hope this week?

5 Minutes of Hope 💛

Sometimes the smallest moments can make the biggest difference.
This week, take 5 minutes to connect with someone:

• Invite someone to coffee
• Go outside together
• Check on a neighbor

A simple conversation, kind message, or shared moment can remind someone they’re not alone.

Be the Voice Someone Needs to Hear 💚

Volunteering with the Crisis Hotline means showing up for your community with compassion, empathy, and hope. You don’t need to have all the answers — just the willingness to listen and care.

“Volunteering with the Crisis Hotline showed me how powerful simply listening can be. Sometimes people just need to know someone cares.”

There’s something healing about stepping outside — feeling the sun, breathing fresh air, or slowing down for a moment in the place we call home. 🌿

Spending time outdoors can help reduce stress, improve mood, and remind us that we’re connected to something bigger than our worries. Even a short walk or a quiet moment outside can make a difference for our mental wellbeing.

And if things still feel heavy, you don’t have to carry it alone. The Crisis Hotline is here 24/7.
