Our clinics in Kewanee, Colona & Toulon offer Family Practitioner led clinic services to all local residents. First Choice Healthcare services are provided by the Henry-Stark County Health Department in order to further the organization’s mission: to protect and improve the health of the community. With Clinic locations in Kewanee and Colona, First Choice Healthcare is here to serve you! We accept

most insurances, and offer access to low-cost healthcare to those without health insurance or those who have a high insurance deductible. You do not have to be a resident of Henry or Stark County to access many services. This institution is an equal opportunity provider. Our Kewanee clinic is available for “Walk-In” appointments Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm. Our Colona clinic is open for appointments only Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

The Henry & Stark County Health Departments & First Choice Healthcare Clinics announce that our “12 Communities, 12 Months” event for June will be a special outreach display on Wednesday, June 17th and Thursday, June 18th from 2:00pm-4:00pm in the Merchants Building at the Henry County Fair, Cambridge, IL Our staff will offer the public: Free Accepting & Disposal of Home Expired or Unused Medications; and Free Blood Pressure Checks. There will also be free giveaways and health information. In addition, our Get Covered Illinois Insurance Navigator will be available.

The Henry & Stark County Health Department & First Choice Healthcare note that with the summer camping, hiking, and outdoor season in full swing throughout Illinois; we are reminding everyone who enjoys the outdoors of the importance of protection against ticks and tick-borne illnesses like Lyme disease. Ticks are active into the fall and pose a serious health risk to humans and pets. Have you been exposed? Due to this continued risk, we announce we have Lyme Disease screenings at our clinics. In addition, the Health Department Environment Division has received a special tick collection and testing grant. The grant covers tick testing surveillance activities which include our staff conducting a series of tick collection drags at various sites throughout Henry & Stark County.
