It’s been fun St. Louis! Thanks for having me . I always leave with a full heart, new friendships, and more chronic illness management tools than I came with. Paula Eichenbrenner

I don’t know if I am more in love with the sunflowers or the finches hanging out in them. Happy fall!

🌻 Sometimes chronic illness changes what “a good day” looks like.

This picture might just look like a woman with some flowers, smiling in the sunshine. And honestly, that’s exactly what I want it to be.

Because living with chronic illness doesn’t mean every moment has to be about pain, appointments, medications, or what my body can’t do.

Sometimes it’s about noticing the flowers.
Finding a little joy.
Getting outside.
Taking the picture.
And letting yourself have a moment where you’re simply living.

I’ve learned that I don’t have to wait until my health is perfect to enjoy my life. I can make room for the hard days and still celebrate the beautiful ones. 🌻

Find your little bit of sunshine today. It counts. ❤️

Life doesn’t stop just because you have RA.

The world keeps moving, plans keep happening, and sometimes you’re just trying to keep up while your body is asking you to slow down.

I’ve learned to just keep putting one foot in front of the other and find my joy along the way.

Choose the little things that make you smile. Choose happiness when you can. Choose to live the life that’s still in front of you, even if chronic illness has changed the path. Choose how you show up everyday and always show up as your best self.

One day. One step. One moment at a time. ❤️

Sometimes I wish I could just get dressed without thinking about rheumatoid arthritis. 💜

But the truth is, RA impacts what I wear way more than I’d like it to. Buttons, zippers, tight shoes, heavy clothes, uncomfortable fabrics…some days, “cute” has to take a backseat to what my body can actually tolerate.

And you know what? That’s okay.

I’m learning that finding my joy doesn’t always mean dressing the way I used to. Sometimes it means finding ways to feel good within the limits of the body I have today. 💜 and also ignoring everyone’s unsolicited advice!
