Provides high-quality, accessible, and integrated mental health care for veterans regardless of role, discharge status, or ability to pay, active duty service members (with a TRICARE referral), and military families. Veterans, active duty service members (with a TRICARE referral), and military family members can receive services addressing depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, sleep problems

, adolescent behavioral issues, relationship and family stress, etc. Services are provided by credentialed staff trained to work specifically with the military population. The Cohen Clinic at Endeavors can also provide case management support and local referrals to help with education, employment, financial assistance, housing, and legal issues.

Transitioning out of the military can bring a lot of change, and for some, anxiety about what comes next.

This su***de prevention month, the Cohen Clinic at Endeavors encourages everyone to and start a conversation that can be lifesaving. Whether it's checking-in with a loved one, asking about secure fi***rm storage, or reaching out if you need help, Ask Anyway reminds us that we don't have to have all the answers.

No one knows Murphy’s law better than a military family… so remember that not all back-to-school moments go smoothly, and that’s okay! Even when things do not go according to plan, remind your child (and yourself!) that this was an experiment, note what you learned, and try something new next time.

For example, if a child was disappointed that they did not have anyone to sit with at lunch, brainstorm what they could try tomorrow, such as inviting another classmate who is sitting alone to join them.

Our Clinic Community Liaison, Selena Villa, joined U.S. Army Fort Hood “Hood Howdy” Welcome Resource Fair earlier this week on behalf of the Cohen Clinic at Endeavors and The Parenting STAIR Program. 💜

Hood Howdy helps new military families connect with resources, learn about their community, and feel welcomed to Fort Hood.

PSTAIR supports military-connected moms, including service members and spouses, as they navigate the transitions and challenges of parenthood and military life. Like all therapy services at the Cohen Clinic at Endeavors, PSTAIR is available through telehealth.

We’re grateful to be part of Fort Hood’s Texas-sized welcome and connect families with resources to support them along the way.
