Over the past year, life required my full attention.
It was full. Too full.
Very early mornings. Long days.
Challenge after challenge — and I often felt on call for it all.
Handling what was in front of me — and not much else.
And truthfully, it wasn’t just this past year.
It followed several years of difficult seasons.
One challenge rolling into the next, layering onto it all.
Adapting. Enduring. Adjusting.
Learning to carry more than I expected to — more than I realized I could.
There are seasons when your bandwidth narrows.
Or seemingly closes altogether.
When the things that matter to you get shoved aside.
When you’re simply doing what needs to be done — trudging forward.
That doesn’t mean you’ve disappeared.
It just means you’ve been covered up. And carrying a lot.
Somewhere along the way, everything started to feel too heavy.
Hope had grown thin.
And then there was a defining moment.
I realized I couldn’t keep carrying it all. And I wasn’t meant to.
The Lord gently reminded me to place the weight in His hands — that He is the One who carries what feels too heavy. That He is the author and source of hope.
And something in me shifted.
Hope began to bubble up again.
I’m in a season of surrender.
Of realigning.
Of restoration.
Of taking a breath.
Figuring out how I want to move forward — and what my next steps will be.
Coming back to creating something beautiful out of the ashes.
And as I do, I want to share from that place. Not as someone who has it all figured out. But as someone who has walked through challenging seasons, felt hope grow thin, and seen it return — and propel me forward. Again and again.
If this feels familiar, you’re in the right place.
Throw me a Hi if you see this - I’d love to connect or reconnect with you.
