Positive Relational Couples Therapy (PRCT) for LGBTQIA+ Military Couples: A Strengths-Based Group
Greetings,
We are seeking LGBTQIA+ couples with military experience to participate in an 8-week virtual Positive Relational Couples Therapy (PRCT) group designed to enhance relationship satisfaction, communication, and overall well-being. PRCT integrates Positive Psychology’s PERMA Model to build strengths and well-being, the Gottman Couples Method to strengthen communication and connection, and an affirming approach that addresses military-related stressors experienced by LGBTQIA+ couples.
The group begins the week of July 27, 2026. We have limited spots remaining and currently have room for only three more couples.
Eligibility:
Both partners identify as LGBTQIA+.
At least one partner has military experience.
Both partners are 18 years or older and English-speaking.
In a romantic relationship for at least 6 months.
Able to attend weekly virtual sessions.
Participants will attend weekly 90–120-minute sessions, complete brief questionnaires throughout the study, participate in a follow-up interview and focus group, and receive compensation for completing the study.
Interested? Complete the brief 2–3 minute prescreen survey here:
