Saving Lives Across the Northern Neck 💜

For Save a Life Day, NNMFHC’s Peer Recovery Specialists, Sam Terry and Lacey Edwards, were out in the community helping make Narcan more accessible to neighbors across the Northern Neck.

Sam joined Mobile Integrated Healthcare in Westmoreland County, distributing 278 boxes of Narcan, while Lacey joined Middle Peninsula Northern Neck Behavioral Health in Lancaster County, distributing another 176 boxes.

Together, they helped put 454 boxes of Narcan into the hands of people in our community.

We’re grateful to our local partners for working together to make lifesaving resources more accessible and to our Peer Recovery Specialists for being out where they’re needed. 💙

💙 We’re grateful for the continued support of our Northern Neck community!

Thank you to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Rappahannock for a generous donation to Northern Neck-Middlesex Free Health Clinic. Kelly Maitland recently stopped by to deliver the check and help support our work providing medical, dental, pharmacy, and behavioral health care to neighbors who need it.

A Partnership That Makes a Difference 🦷💙 💛

It was a pleasure to host Dr. Carlos S. Smith, D.D.S., M.Div., and Michelle McGregor, R.D.H., B.S., M.Ed., from the VCU School of Dentistry at NNMFHC!

Their visit was a wonderful opportunity for them to see firsthand the accomplishments of their partnership with our Dental Program, which mentors VCU dental students during their clinical rotations. We are incredibly grateful for VCU’s continued support and collaboration, as well as the dental students who bring their time and talents to NNMFHC.

Strong partnerships like this help us provide more accessible, quality dental care to our neighbors in need. 💚🖤

We were honored to welcome Delegate Hillary Kent to the Northern Neck–Middlesex Free Health Clinic, where she presented a special resolution recognizing NNMFHC for our many years of service to the community.

Having Delegate Kent take the time to visit our Clinic, meet with our staff, and personally share this recognition was incredibly meaningful to our entire team. We are grateful for her advocacy, her commitment to our community, and all she does for the Commonwealth of Virginia.

At NNMFHC, we strive to strengthen the health of our community one neighbor at a time. We’re thankful to have leaders like Delegate Kent standing with us in that work. ❤️

📋 Please bring:
• Parent/guardian (18+)
• Child's insurance card(s), if applicable
• Completed NNMFHC and VHSL physical packets (at Lancaster, Middlesex, Northumberland, Westmoreland, and Richmond County schools, Lancaster Public Library, and NNMFHC Main Office)

Help your student get game-ready before practices and tryouts begin. Schedule your visit and take advantage of this free service while appointments are still available!

**NOTE: IF you cannot bring your child to their appointment, someone over the age of 18 can consent to treatment with your verbal/written consent.
