At Visiting Angels, care means more than showing up for a shift. It means making sure our clients feel supported and never forgotten.

Yesterday, Mr. Johnston had to rearrange his schedule. Since his caregiver usually prepares his supper, our office manager, Samantha, took time out of her evening to personally deliver his dinner!

Care doesn’t stop when the schedule changes. We’re grateful to serve our veterans and to have team members who go above and beyond.

Yesterday: what a GREAT DAY! It showcased the teamwork & work ethic across the Northern Neck / Middle Peninsula of Virginia!

A special shout out to our nurse Katie Meany, RN! She picked up a caregiver w/ car problems & drove her 40 min (from Warsaw) to our Kilmarnock office.

I then took caregiver Brandi to her shift- driving her another 40 min South! .

Brandi relieved our caregiver Jennifer A., from 26 hours on the client!!!!
(She worked a double 12-hr shift + an additional 2 hours on this "Do Not Abandon" for Brandi’s car delay.




I got to see a FAMILY OF DEER as I we arrived. IT FELT LIKE A REWARD- a wink from God!

Upon returning to the office, I got to meet our awesome new hire , Alyza, CNA, and taking her badge picture. GO TEAM!
