🍋 When life gives you lemons… Dirty Lil Swigs makes them DELICIOUS! 🍋

A HUGE thank you to Shavonne Singleton with Dirty Lil Swigs for generously donating 60 flavored lemonades for our residents to enjoy with lunch today! 🥤💛

As you can see, they were definitely resident approved! 😍 Nothing beats a cold, sweet lemonade and an unexpected treat to brighten the day.

We are so incredibly grateful for wonderful people and local businesses like Shavonne and Dirty Lil Swigs who continue to show our residents so much love. Thank you for making today a little sweeter! 🍓🍋🥤❤️

🏈 GAME ON at KCM! 🏈

We’re all set up and ready to TAILGATE! 🎉🏟️ And while the football decorations are fun, today is really about celebrating the MVPs of Kimball County Manor—our incredible staff! ❤️

We are so grateful for the amazing team that shows up every day, works hard, cares deeply, supports one another, and gives so much to our residents. Today we get to return the favor with good food, lots of laughs, a little friendly competition, and some well-deserved FUN! 🏆🏈

And because no tailgate is complete without a good drink, a HUGE shoutout to Dirty Lil Swigs for joining us and serving up some delicious tailgate-themed dirty sodas! 🥤🏈 We can’t wait to see what they have on the drink roster!

The field is ready. The snacks are ready. The drinks are coming. Now we just need our KCM crew! 🙌

Future doctor in training! 🩺❤️
We had a very special visitor at KCM this morning! Aiden made his rounds, and judging by the thorough check-ups our residents received, we’d say his assessment skills are already on point! 😂🩺

He listened to hearts, checked on his patients, and made sure everyone was doing just fine. Our residents were more than happy to be his patients, and Aiden brought plenty of smiles along with his stethoscope.

There’s just something extra special about little visitors and the joy they bring to our residents. ❤️ Thank you, Aiden, for making your rounds at KCM this morning — we think you’ve got a future in healthcare! 👨‍⚕️🩺🥰

🎭✨ Murder, mystery, masks…and a whole lot of fun! ✨🎭

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon outing at Murder at the Masquerade, hosted by the Friends of the Kimball Library! 🔎🎭 They dressed the part, put their detective skills to work, and had plenty of laughs along the way.

A HUGE thank you to our very own Social Services Director, Erica, who personally sponsored our residents so they could attend this special event. ❤️ What an incredibly thoughtful way to give our residents an afternoon filled with fun, friendship, and a little mystery!

We love getting our residents out into the community and creating new memories together—and judging by this crew, they were definitely ready to solve a murder! 😂🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

Thank you to the Friends of the Kimball Library for putting together such a fun and unique community event, and thank you, Erica and Michelle for making sure our residents could be part of it! 💕🎭📚

🍩📚 DRIVE BY DONUTS = SUCCESS! 📚🍩

What a fun way to kick off the first day of school! This morning, our Kimball County Manor crew was up bright and early handing out donuts, juice, and back-to-school goodie bags to Kimball Public Schools students and staff as they headed off to start a brand-new year! 🚌✏️🎒

From cars rolling through to goodie bags making their way right onto the school bus, we loved seeing all those familiar faces and getting to send everyone off with a little something sweet. ❤️

A HUGE thank you again to Hannah & Dillon Snyder with Nebraska Coffee for teaming up with us to bring back the tradition of Drive By Donuts! 🍩☕ We are so grateful for community partners who are always willing to jump in and help us make moments like these possible.

To all of our students, teachers, administrators and school staff — have an AMAZING school year! We’re cheering you on from the Manor! ❤️📚

While our Activity Director was away, the lovely Amira was holding down the fort—and she made sure there was no shortage of fun! ❤️

Our residents had a busy week filled with balloon tic-tac-toe, noodle hockey, sing-alongs, exercise, church, Coffee, Reading & Rolls, and a new activity called “Memories & Moments.” 🎈🏒🎶☕📖

For Memories & Moments, residents spun a color wheel and answered a question that matched their color—and we learned some pretty great things along the way! ❤️

❤️ Richard’s least favorite food? Beets!
💜 Leola’s favorite gift she ever received? A doll with hair.
💙 Dallas says dogs definitely beat cats—and growing up, his family had 13 c**n dogs, 2 bird dogs AND 3 pet dogs! 🐶
💚 Marlene couldn’t pick a favorite subject in school because she loved school and loved them all. 📚
🧡 Loretta’s farthest travels took her to Ireland and the Philippines with the Department of Education! ✈️
💛 If Lila won the lottery, she’d head to Scotland!
❤️ Margaret’s least favorite chore? Sweeping and mopping the floor. (We think a few of us can relate! 😂)
💜 And Mary Ann’s favorite gift? Her clarinet. 🎶

Activities are about so much more than filling the calendar. They give us opportunities to move, laugh, reminisce, learn something new about one another, and simply enjoy being together. These little moments often lead to some of the very best stories. 🥰

A big thank you to Amira for jumping right in, bringing some fun new ideas to the week, and making sure our residents stayed busy, engaged, and smiling! We appreciate you! ❤️
