We are proud to announce the arrival of a new advanced state-of-the-art SCENARIA View 128 CT system, bringing advanced vascular imaging to South County.

This new technology is part of our Diagnostic Imaging and Emergency Department renovation project and represents a major advancement in local diagnostic imaging capability.

The new system capabilities will be used to help evaluate a wide range of conditions.

Critical Vascular Pathologies including:
• Acute Stroke with Perfusion Assessment
• Aneurysm Identification and Characterization
• Acute Arterial Blockages, Ruptures, or Tears

• Orthopedic Hardware Assessments with metal artifact reduction algorithms / HiMAR

New CT Scanner Upgrades featuring:
• Updated design accommodates larger and taller patients
• Full array of Pediatric Specific protocols to minimize radiation doses

This B&W photograph from the King City Rustler in 1971 shows 77 dedicated employees standing proudly outside the Mee Memorial hospital entrance--back when bell-bottoms were in, and gas was $0.40 per gallon! ⛽

In 2026, we are still the only hospital in South County, a lifeline for the community, and our mission continues as we care for the health and well-being of our patients.

Here's to all the people, past and present, who have served our community and made it what it is today! 💙
