When your client is absolutely CRUSHING their functional communication skills 🤩 👏

The progress this kiddo has made since starting services has absolutely blown us away. We couldn't be more proud!

Functional communication is a huge part of ABA Therapy because it gives children the skills to communicate their needs, wants, feelings, and so much more. It could be requesting a favorite food, asking someone to play with them, setting a boundary - the list goes on and on.

Being able to independently communicate these requests is a big deal, and moments like this have us celebrating every time💙

We received this photo from our clinical team today with the message: "When you're feeling down, let a client dress you up! I can guarantee you'll feel like a hero."

To be honest, it was a reminder we all needed- just how impactful this field is, how important it is to have fun, not take life too seriously, and surround yourself with the right people (and clients!!)

Meet Richele Yeich, Ed.S., BCBA, brings more than 25 years of experience supporting children and families across school, clinic, and community settings. From public education to ABA leadership, her background is as deep as it is impactful, and she’s currently continuing that growth as she works toward her doctorate.

At our Robinson clinic in Pittsburgh, Richele is a steady, supportive presence for her team- leading with experience, collaboration, and a true commitment to helping both clients and clinicians succeed. She believes in compassionate, individualized care and works closely with families to ensure every child is making meaningful progress.
