As we reflect on what we’re grateful for, AlphaGroup believes that sharing what we have and giving back to those in need is an equally important part of the season. Food insecurity affects approximately 34 million people in the US and is directly linked to poorer overall health and increased risk of diet-related chronic diseases. This November, to help combat food insecurity, AlphaGroup supported the Philadelphia-based organization MANNA.

Savie Das joined AlphaScientia in September of 2022 and has since been active on new initiatives utilizing her clinical experience and medical communications expertise to develop her team of scientific staff and support the growth of the company.

Savie began her career as a physician in obstetrics and gynecology and family medicine at Manipal Hospital in Bangalore, India. When she moved to the United States, Savie transitioned from clinical practice to the medical communications field, where she has spent the last 7 years.

In a market that is constantly adapting and adjusting to the needs of the healthcare field, real-world evidence (RWE) is becoming increasingly important for regulatory and reimbursement decision-making. Historically used for post-market safety monitoring, RWE is now integrated throughout the product development lifecycle and has led to real-time data analysis to understand better and gain insights on disease, treatment approaches, and how to substantiate coverage decisions.
