Jeanne Elizabeth Parker Holt was born July 20, 1941 in Tampa, Florida, and passed away on March 23, 2026 In Kingfisher, Oklahoma. She was born to George Parker and Julia Hall Parker.

On August 9, 1970 Jeanne married the love of her life, George Holt in Savannah, Georgia. When the two married, Jeanne not only found a husband, but the perfect bonus dad to her four children, Shirlene, Kandy, Kenny, and Peg. After their union, the family lived in various places in Georgia. In October 1974 the family made the big move to Oklahoma and settled in Dover. In 1989 the two made the move to Kingfisher.

Jeanne was known around town by many names: Momma, Momma Red, Momma Jean, Grandma, and GG. She never knew a stranger and considered everyone as family. She loved hosting family events/gatherings where anyone and everyone was welcome.

Not only did Jeanne love people, she loved serving others. She spent many years as a waitress at Terry’s Mexican Restaurant in Kingfisher. She volunteered at the American Red Cross. Later in life she served the littlest members of the community with an in-home daycare.
After she and George retired, the two enjoyed time at the lake, camping, their countless trips to Wal-Mart (everyone knew them by name), and sitting on the front porch drinking coffee.

Jeanne was known for her beautiful yard and her love of flowers. People often went to her for flower advice, what to plant and when and where to plant them. She also loved her Coca-Cola. It was not often that she was seen without a can of Coca-Cola or a cup of coffee (a little bit of coffee with a lot of creamer and a lot of sugar…also known as foo-foo coffee). Once she discovered Amazon she quickly became addicted.

Even to the end, George and Jeanne had a special love story. They loved and adored each other. They could always be seen holding hands. In their younger days they loved dancing in the living room. George always walked ahead of her so that he could open her door.

Jeanne leaves behind an incredible legacy of love. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, George Holt, her children: Shirlene Harrell and Kandy Cochran, both of Kingfisher and Kenny (Trecia) Harrell of Mustang. In total she had 18 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings: George Jr., Dewitt, Billy, Betty Ann, and Bobbie Jo, and her precious daughter Peg, beloved niece Susan Holt, and great grandsons Kaden and Jace.

A Celebration of Life for Jeanne is scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 am at Frontline Ministries under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Laurnell Eleice (Meyer) Lenz was born November 29, 1930, and went to be with the Lord December 9, 2025. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and sister and friend to many. She grew up on a farm 2 miles east and 1/4 south of Okarche, Oklahoma.

Laurnell was a life long member of the Lutheran Church. She was baptized by Rev. T.C. Otte December 2, 1930 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Okarche. Also confirmed at St. Johns in April 1944.

Laurnell attended St. Johns Parochial School grades 1-8th. Then attending Okarche High School. She participated in basketball and softball.

Growing up on the family farm required the usual chores of feeding chickens, milking cows. Later running the tractor and combine. When the self-propelled combines became part of the farm, she was adept at running one while her dad was on the other.

Laurnell met George Lenz, also of Okarche. After a few years of courtship they were married August 10, 1950 at St. Johns. They made their home in Oklahoma City. George was employed at Tinker Air Force Base. Later going overseas in France, while traveling extensively to nearby countries. Laurnell and George spent 4 years in Europe. Later when George retired, they moved to Okarche refurbishing their current home. Laurnell was employed at the First Bank of Okarche, where she worked until retirement.

Upon retirement, they bought a travel trailer, spending months at a time traveling the United States. When George passed, Laurnell became involved in quilting, making beautiful quilts, which she shared with her family. She enjoyed spending countless hours with friends and family helping with their quilts. Something she loved doing. She also loved to travel and went on many bus tours making friends and memories. She was a member of a bridge club in Kingfisher and Surrey Hills, which she made life long friends.

Laurnell was active in her church, from being a Sunday School teacher to later becoming a charter member of Lamplighers LWML at St. Johns Lutheran in Okarche. She and her sister Florene attended 12 National Conventions throughout the U.S. While active with Lamplighters holding offices, she served as president for a number of years. Laurnell also volunteered to be director of the church funeral committee for 10 years. She was a strong woman of faith who was devoted to church.

While enjoying her activities, her most cherished moments were the ones spent with family. Laurnell loved spending time with her grandchildren and especially her great grandchildren. Lovingly known and grandma and Gigi. She enjoyed fussing over, and spoiling them. You never left grandmas house hungry.

DAY OF KINDNESS EXTENDED- because Kindness shouldn't be limited to one day!!

The Wilson Funeral Home family delivered donuts to the staff of Homestead of Kingfisher, Cimarron Nursing Center, and First Shamrock Care Center to thank them for the important care they provide for our friends, neighbors and people we love! Their jobs can require long hours and sometimes must feel like no one sees everything they do. That's why we wanted to provide a small gesture to show them that we see what they do, and that they make a difference!!

After a loss, one thing a grieving person needs is the support of people who care and go the extra mile. That’s why you need to take the initiative and go after them.

No matter how sincere your offer, a grieving person is unlikely to call you for help, even if they need it. Instead, you should call them! Ask them about doing lunch, picking up groceries, or stopping by to mow the lawn.

At first, they may be a little reluctant (not wanting to inconvenience you) but continue to be intentional about offering your love and support.

Graceful. Steadfast. Courageous. Queen Elizabeth II was a symbol of strength, duty, and tranquility during her reign, and we are saddened by the news of her passing. As the longest-reigning monarch in the history of England, she cared for her people and was loved by many. Our thoughts are with those in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and all other Commonwealth realms. Let us remember the good she did throughout her marveled history and the positivity she brought to the world.
