Case Managers do so much behind the scenes, advocating for patients, coordinating care, connecting families with resources, and helping make some of the most difficult transitions a little easier. Their compassion, dedication, and teamwork make such a difference every single day.

Meet the Experts Behind River Valley Home Health! 🌟

We’re excited to continue our Therapist Spotlight Series, where you’ll get to know the incredible professionals helping our patients regain strength, independence, and confidence every day.

Next up: Jeffrey Balser, OTR/L

With 24 years of experience, Jeff has dedicated his career to providing Occupational Therapy services to the geriatric population, helping patients maintain independence and continue doing the things that matter most to them.

Jeff specializes in preventative care, with a focus on mindfulness, fall prevention, and improving overall well-being. He is also a Certified Tai Chi Instructor for Arthritis and Fall Prevention, bringing a unique approach to helping patients improve balance, mobility, and confidence.

But for Jeff, the most rewarding part of his work is showing patients what they’re truly capable of.

“My favorite thing about my job is opening people’s eyes to what is possible and seeing their reaction when they are able to meet their goals.”

Whether it’s helping someone safely navigate their home, reduce their risk of falls, regain independence with everyday activities, or accomplish a goal they once thought was out of reach, Jeff is passionate about helping his patients discover what’s possible.

⭐️ What an incredible day in the Hualapais! From egg tosses and co****le tournaments to three-legged races, amazing food, a live band, and countless laughs, our company picnic was one for the books. We believe that coming together as a team and getting to know one another beyond the workplace helps us grow stronger, thrive together, and truly feel like family. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and made lasting memories. We are already looking forward to the next one! ❤️
