New headshot, new introduction.

Hi, I’m Jenny.

I’m a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Nurse Practitioner. I’ve been a nurse for 16 years and a nurse practitioner for the past 6 years, with a background in emergency medicine, interventional radiology, vascular medicine, primary care, and aesthetics.

A few years ago, I took a leap of faith and opened A New Shade of Beauty. It has been one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous. There have been incredible highs, difficult lows, moments where I’ve questioned everything, and moments that reminded me exactly why I started. Through it all, I’ve never lost sight of my passion for taking care of people.

Aesthetic medicine allows me to blend science, medicine, and artistry in a way that I absolutely love. Helping someone feel more confident in their own skin is an incredible privilege, and I never take that trust for granted.

Recently, I made the decision to return to working in the emergency department while continuing to run my practice. It wasn’t because I was giving up—it was because I realized I missed emergency medicine. I missed the teamwork, the challenge, and being there for patients on some of the most important days of their lives. At the same time, I wasn’t ready to walk away from the business and patients I’ve poured my heart into building.

So now I get to do both.

Whether I’m helping someone through a medical emergency or helping them feel confident when they look in the mirror, my purpose is the same: to care for people with honesty, compassion, and the best care I can provide.

Thank you to every patient, friend, family member, and supporter who has believed in me over the years. Your trust means more than you’ll ever know, and I’m so excited for this next chapter.
