A Step Above - Adult Caregiving I have been a caregiver for 25+ years. I started in Alzheimer's and dementia care. I have worked in Adult Family homes.

Where it's a setting of 6 with 1 caregiver. I have also done in home health care with Visiting Angels.

I love to take my clients on trips to go shopping, or just have a little fun.
This day we went to the Animal Ark and drove around in our rented golf cart and looked at all the animals. It was a great day.

Does your loved one need care but they don't want to leave the comfort of their home? I understand that and I can help with that.
Hiring a private caregiver is much cheaper than putting your loved one in a home or hiring an agency that will send several different caregivers. That's not personal!
I will give them a one on one experience. Your loved one will get to know one or two caregivers. This gives a more personal experience.

Hi!!

I would like to introduce myself, and tell you some of my experience.

I started in an Alzheimer's facility. I was certified in Alzheimer's and dementia care. I believe every caregiver should start with Alzheimer's care as it helps you learn patience with your clients.
I then started working with Adult Family homes. This is a home with up to 6 residents. I would get them up in the morning, showering, laundry, grocery lists, medication, cooking, activities, and get them ready for bed. I would then stay the night as well.
I started working for Visiting Angels right when COVID started. I was willing to go to any client's home. I did all in home care. I would stay with some of my clients for up to 5 days. I would cook, clean, medicine, outings, Dr appt, grocery shopping and sit with them when they wanted company.
I've done 'end of life' care as well. This is very special to me. I was requested several times by clients. I would help the family and the client get through this time with as much ease as I possibly could.

I really enjoy being with my clients and doing what they like to do. I am very protective and always want what's right for my clients!!

I am ready to take on clients again! I am a PRIVATE caregiver. I DO NOT work with any companies NOR the state.
