We had so much fun celebrating our incredible staff during our Hawaiian Day In-Service! 💕 From the Cactus Cone, served by Kristina Daigle 🍦🚚 to safety scratch-offs, fun surprises, lots of laughter, and plenty of smiles, we made sure our amazing team felt appreciated! 🥰

Our staff work hard every day to make a difference in the lives of our residents, and today was all about celebrating YOU! 🌺💛

🌺🌴 Aloha from Hawaiian Day! 🌴🌺

Our Assisted Living residents enjoyed a little taste of the islands today with our wonderful friends from River Valley Hospice! 💕 They spent time teaching our residents how to paint a beautiful Hawaiian scene, and we loved seeing everyone’s creativity shine! 🎨🌺

A big thank you to River Valley Hospice for bringing sunshine, smiles, and a little Hawaiian spirit to our day! 🌴☀️💙

🤠🌵 Yeehaw! Western Day Happy Hour! 🌵🤠

We had a boot-stompin’ good time with our friends from Beacon of Hope Hospice! ❤️

Our residents and staff enjoyed WANTED posters with a $1,000 reward, delicious nachos and drinks from our Kitchen Staff, and wonderful service from our “Bar Maids,” Kaylyn from Beacon of Hope Hospice and our lovely Sydney! 🍹🌮

And a special thank-you to the amazing Gary Lacaz for coming out to play the piano and keep the good times rolling! 🎹🤠

✨🏡 ASSISTED LIVING WEEK – DAY 1! 🏡✨

We kicked off Assisted Living Week with an AMAZING morning of Disney Bingo with Living Water Hospice! 🎉💙

And this wasn’t just any bingo…we had a little help from Snow White, the Seven Dwarfs, and even the Evil Queen Grimhilde! 🍎👑✨

There were lots of laughs, smiles, surprises, and, of course…BINGO! 🎉 Our residents had such a wonderful time celebrating together.

A huge THANK YOU to Living Water Hospice for helping us make Day 1 so magical! ❤️

What a fantastic way to begin a week dedicated to celebrating our amazing residents and staff! Our kitchen staff also joined in on the fun. Thank you all for participating! 🌟🏡

☕️ Coffee & Conversation with Mayor Ken Watkins! ☕️

We were honored to welcome Mayor Ken Watkins to Avista Senior Living WhiteCliffs for a wonderful morning of coffee, conversation, and community! ❤️

Our residents enjoyed visiting with Mayor Watkins, sharing stories, asking questions, and talking about the community they are proud to call home. It was such a special opportunity for our residents to connect, be heard, and stay involved in what’s happening around them.

A huge thank you to Mayor Ken Watkins for taking the time to spend part of the morning with our residents. We truly appreciate you stopping by and making it such a meaningful visit! ☕️😊

A special thank-you to Nik for contacting the Mayor and to our kitchen staff for all their hard work in helping make this event so special, including preparing all the delicious food to enjoy with the coffee.

Rock Education at Avista White Cliffs! 🪨✨Today’s activity took our residents on a journey through Arizona’s geological history!

Sydney put together a hands-on rock and mineral seminar featuring specimens rockhounded right here in our local area — from sparkling pyrite (aka “fool’s gold”) to petrified wood over 200 million years old.

Residents got to touch, examine, and learn about desert jasper, quartz, chalcedony, selenite, petrified wood, and even a fossilized coprolite (that’s ancient turtle p**p — completely odorless, we promise!) They discovered how quartz forms, how petrified wood is Arizona’s official state fossil, and why geology proves our desert was once covered by a warm tropical sea.

It was a wonderful afternoon of curiosity, conversation, and hands-on discovery. Learning never gets old! 😊

Celebrating National Beautiful Grandmothers Day with Beacon of Hope Hospice! 📸✨

We had such a wonderful and heartwarming day as Beacon of Hope Hospice welcomed the talented James Brown to capture some truly special photos of our beautiful residents in honor of National Beautiful Grandmothers Day! 💖

It was a joyful experience filled with laughter, smiles, and a little extra sparkle as our residents got pampered and posed for their portraits. Everyone had such a fun time celebrating the beauty, strength, and grace of our amazing grandmothers. 🌷
