Sometimes I look at this and just think… wow.
It started as an idea that a lot of people didn’t understand... now 5 years later, this one "man in a van" has helped hundreds of families, spanning across nearly 20 states and more than 7 countries, and... when you think about all the family members and friends connected to those lives, helped bring healing to literally thousands of hearts.
Thousands. That's is insane. That’s hard for me to wrap my head around.
There were people who laughed. People who said it wouldn’t work. People who were absolutely certain I was doing it wrong and that’s okay...
The impact speaks for itself!
I don’t know what your dream is. Maybe it makes perfect sense to everyone around you. Or like me, it sounds completely ridiculous to them and you’ve kept it quiet because you’re afraid of what people will say if you actually try.
Step into it right now, today! (We can share the day and I can root you on too!)
I did and it know it sound so freaking cliche, but that's really all it was. Time, and time, and time again, along the way God, Creator, Source, Allah, whatever it is that runs though each of us has come through in the clutch. Every single time because that idea was not "my" idea it was hers, or his, or it's or maybe "Ours"
Today is a mixed bag for lots of reasons but I can say that I have successfully lived my dream. That not because I have a business, or proved anybody wrong, far from it... It's because real families took a leap of faith on me, and I got the chance to make a real and lasting difference in their lives, I got to make some of their hardest days a bit more bearable in my own very special way.
That was my dream all along. There's an incredible sense of accomplishment that comes from helping people. I call it my "Rock Star" moment, thank you for helping me find my stage.
And standing here now, looking at what that idea became, I’m just incredibly thankful. Be a little crazy. Let them laugh.
But make your impact baby!
