Meet our August Spotlight Employee… Nate!
Nate has been with Sunny Days Northwest for four months as our Director of Operations. Originally from Oil City, he still calls Oil City home with his wife, Emma, and their three children, Irelyn, Arlo, and Maren. Their family also includes a black lab named Mia and a cat named Jinxy.
Outside of work, Nate says he’s usually getting dragged along to one of his kids’ activities! He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, watching just about any sport, and listening to country and classic rock. His favorite food is Reubens, his favorite movie is Superbad, and a fun fact about him is that he lived in Texas for four years.
One of Nate’s favorite parts about working with Sunny Days Northwest is supporting the Field Manager team and knowing the work they do for clients serves a bigger purpose. He also appreciates working with his supervisor, Heather Dugan, who he says has helped him grow tremendously. His favorite company memories include golf outings, Kennywood, picnics, and getting the chance to know everyone better.
Nate’s advice to new employees is to be patient, trust your experience, and stay open to the advice you’re given. And when it comes to his life mantra, Nate keeps it simple: “It is what it is.”
