🇺🇸 What a wonderful way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday one last time before the month comes to a close! 🇺🇸

Today, we were thrilled to welcome more than 80 guests to our Freedom BBQ! It was such a joy to see so many familiar faces while also welcoming new friends to the Asbury Place community.

A heartfelt thank you to every department that came together to make this celebration possible. Your teamwork, hospitality, and dedication made for an unforgettable afternoon.

Although the storms moved our festivities indoors, they certainly didn’t dampen our patriotic spirit! We enjoyed great food, wonderful fellowship, and plenty of red, white, and blue fun as we celebrated our nation’s incredible 250-year legacy.

Here’s to the freedoms we cherish, the community we share, and the memories we create together.

A little creativity, a lot of laughter, and plenty of color! 🎨💦

Our residents at Baysmont House traded paintbrushes for water guns and turned our courtyard into an outdoor art studio! With every splash of color, they created one-of-a-kind masterpieces while enjoying the sunshine, fresh air, and lots of smiles.

Activities like these are about so much more than painting—they encourage creativity, movement, social connection, and making joyful memories together.

We think it’s safe to say this colorful adventure was a splashing success! 🌈❤️

Residents enjoyed another wonderful Social Hour filled with live music, flowing beverages, and plenty of laughter among friends. As always, our talented Dining Team outdid themselves with a delicious selection of delicacies that made the evening even more special.

A rainy day couldn’t dampen the smiles at Baysmont House! 🌧️🌸

A heartfelt thank you to Pickin’ Petals Flower Farm for graciously donating these gorgeous, fresh-cut dahlias to our community. Their beautiful blooms brightened our halls, our residents’ rooms, and most importantly, their day.

It’s amazing how something as simple as fresh flowers can bring so much joy, spark conversations, and create smiles. We are so grateful for the kindness and generosity of local businesses that help make our community feel so special.

The third Saturday of each month means one thing at Asbury Place: brunch with friends, great food, and wonderful company! 🥞☕️

Our monthly brunch is always a resident favorite, bringing everyone together to enjoy an incredible spread prepared by our talented Dining Services team. From hot breakfast favorites and fresh fruit to homemade pastries and sweet treats, today’s brunch was nothing short of amazing!

A special shoutout to our incredible dining staff, who not only created another outstanding meal but also wore matching shirts with the perfect reminder: “Be the reason someone smiles today.” That message truly reflects the kindness, care, and dedication they bring to our community each and every day.

There’s nothing quite like a beautiful Friday morning spent outdoors! ☀️🌳

Our residents enjoyed a picnic-style breakfast at Derrick Park in Church Hill, complete with a delicious meal prepared by our incredibly talented Dining Services team. From great conversation and fresh air to taking in the peaceful scenery (and snapping a photo or two!), it was the perfect way to start the day.

Friday outings have become one of our favorite traditions, giving residents the opportunity to explore the community, enjoy new experiences, and make wonderful memories together. Here’s to another Friday well spent! 💙

🦋 A Beautiful Tradition Takes Flight at Asbury Place! 🦋

There is something truly special about witnessing a monarch butterfly take its very first flight.

Asbury Place is proud to be a Certified Monarch Waystation, providing a safe habitat for monarch butterflies to feed, grow, and thrive. This meaningful project is lovingly led by our own resident, Nancy Knight, whose passion and generosity have made it a treasured tradition on our campus.

Nancy graciously shares this experience with residents in both Asbury Place and Baysmont House, giving everyone the opportunity to learn about the monarch life cycle and participate in each butterfly release.

For our most recent release, residents gathered at Baysmont House to watch these beautiful butterflies spread their wings and begin their incredible journey. It was a peaceful and memorable afternoon filled with smiles, wonder, and appreciation for the beauty of nature.

A heartfelt thank you to Nancy for the time, care, and dedication she pours into this project. Because of her, our residents continue to enjoy an experience that inspires joy, curiosity, and connection with the world around us.
