We had a great Thursday in Scranton at the 2026 Northeast Regional Maternal Health Coalition Seminar! 🌟

It was great to hear about the state of maternal health in PA from special guest speaker Sara Goulet, Special Advisor to the Secretary of DHS.

We also enjoyed networking with other amazing organizations and people who attended.

A huge thank you to Maternal and Family Health Services for allowing us to have a resource table — we loved being able to connect with everyone who stopped by! 💙

So inspired by everyone working together to support moms and families in our community.

Happy Pride Month! 🏳️‍🌈

Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health would like to wish a happy Pride Month to all of our community.

This past Saturday, we attended Endless Mountains Pridefest in Bradford County. It was great to see some of our community partners at this event providing resources to help support the community. It was a wonderful event and celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community.

You are seen, loved, and never alone. 💖

This past Saturday, Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health was at Nay Aug Park in Scranton with a resource table for a co****le tournament hosted by Lakeside NEPA and The Recovery Bank. It was a fantastic way to close out Mental Health Month — and a powerful reminder that recovery from substance use or mental health challenges can absolutely include fun, activity, and community. We loved seeing so many local treatment centers bring their clients to play in the tournament. Together, we’re breaking stigmas and building healthier lives. 💚

Earlier this month we attended the Lackawanna County 2026 Mental Health & Wellness Fair at Nay Aug Park! 💚

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and events like this are a powerful reminder that many people in our community live with a mental health condition. No one should ever have to face that alone.

It was a privilege connecting with providers, advocates, and community members—and sharing information about Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health. The day was a heartfelt reminder that while mental health challenges can feel isolating, you are never alone. Our community has resources, and there is always hope

Huge thank you to Lackawanna County System of Care and The Advocacy Alliance for creating such a meaningful event focused on wellness, awareness, and support. And a shout-out to all the amazing organizations who joined:

Remembering their sacrifice. Holding space for you. 💙

This Memorial Day, from all of us at Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health, we want to say thank you to the families who have given so much for our country. We honor the heroes who aren't coming home, and we see the loved ones who carry that loss every day.

As you fire up the grill or gather with family, it’s also okay if you’re feeling heavy. Grief, anxiety, or loneliness don't take a holiday. Be gentle with yourself and check in on the people around you.

We are so proud to be part of this community. Have a safe, meaningful weekend, Wyoming Valley. And remember—you're never alone. 🇺🇸

Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health was proud to exhibit at the 2026 NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania Mental Health & Wellness Conference in Harrisburg, PA.

Yesterday was an amazing start, and we're looking forward to the final day of the conference. Over the past two days, we've had the opportunity to network and connect with mental health advocates and professionals from across the state.

Meaningful conversations were at the heart of our experience—we listened, shared about Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health, and answered questions about our services. It was a privilege to help educate attendees on the importance of accessible, compassionate behavioral health care.

As we close out this conference, we also recognize that May is Mental Health Month. Mental health is just as important as physical health—every day, not only in May.

Thank you to NAMI Keystone Pennsylvania for hosting such a valuable event.

Great way to start off Sunday! It was a beautiful day in Kingston, PA, for the Luzerne/Wyoming County Mental Health Walk! 💚 Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health was happy to be one of the sponsors at this amazing event. A huge shout-out to the planning committee — you did an amazing job making sure this was a great event from start to finish. We loved talking with people about mental health, sharing resources, and making a difference together. Ran into some old friends and made plenty of new connections. What more could you ask for? 🚶‍♀️🧠

🌅 Before the sun came out this morning, our very own Dr. Angelique Cortez (Director of Social Services) was live on WBRE News! 🎥

She helped shine a light on the Mental Health Awareness Walk coming up this Sunday at Kirby Park – and we couldn’t be prouder to support it.

💚 Wyoming Valley Behavioral Health is a Pathway Partner level sponsor
✅ We’ll have a resource table at the event
🤝 We’re joining forces with multiple agencies across Luzerne County to help bring this walk back

Here’s what Dr. Cortez shared that really stuck with us:

“The more we can collaborate, the greater we can extend our reach. The more people we can reach, the more chance that folks will be able to recognize those symptoms and where to go to get help.”

This is about working together so no one has to struggle alone.

📅 THIS SUNDAY, May 17th – FREE event!
🕤 9:30am – 12:00pm (Registration starts at 9:30am)
🎤 Speakers at 10:00am
🚶 Walk begins at 10:30am

Come out, bring a friend, grab a coffee, and walk with us. Let’s fill Kirby Park with hope and connection. 💙

It was a beautiful day meeting people from our community and teaming up with other local organizations who are just as passionate about mental health and wellness.

We’re so grateful to be part of this important cause. Huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success! 🙏💚
