Mid-Hudson Family Medicine Residency

We are a passionate group of individuals who want to provide our community high quality primary care.

The program was sponsored by the Mid-Hudson Family Health Institute, a health center network, from 1981 through 2007. In 2007, the Institute for Family Health assumed operation of the six health centers in the network and sponsorship of the Mid-Hudson residency program. The program was awarded federal funding to become one of the first Teaching Health Centers in the country. The funding allowed t

he residency program to expand from 18 to 30 residents beginning in 2011.

Another year, another goodbye that seems harder than the last.

Congratulations to our Class of 2026 - you are one of a kind and superstars in your own right. We will miss you sorely! Welcome, Class of 2029 - we can't wait to see what flavor you bring to the mix.

Congratulations to one of the pillars of our residency, Yisaira (also known as Ms. Mendez to a lifetime of students and prospective residents)!!!!!

She has been with our admin team for longer than we'd like to admit and is a new grad, with a shiny Bachelors in Healthcare Administration and diving straight into her Masters.

We are so proud of everything you've accomplished (while working full time) and we know you'll continue to do great things! You're also proof you can have a full schedule and still answer your emails (ahem, ahem! You know who you all are!) 😁.
