From taking vitals, giving injections, drawing blood, assisting providers, handling paperwork, and everything in between, MAs do so much behind the scenes to help keep things running smoothly!

For two consecutive years, LowCountry Medical Training Center has partnered with MUSC in Charleston under a contract to provide Medical Assistant and Nursing Assistant training at this location! We are proud to continue providing educational opportunities for individuals who want to pursue a career in healthcare.
📚 CLASSES ARE STILL AVAILABLE!
We currently offer classes on the following schedule:
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Afternoon classes
Saturdays: Weekend morning classes, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

🔹 Workforce Pell Grant: A new funding opportunity may be available for eligible students. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Our school code will be announced as soon as it is available.
🔹 SC Works: Contact or visit your local SC Works office to learn about the application process and available workforce training funds.
🔹 Palmetto Goodwill: May offer assistance to eligible SNAP recipients and veterans or their family members.
🔹 South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation (SCVR): Individuals with qualifying disabilities may be eligible for support with career training. Contact SCVR to learn about eligibility requirements and available services.

Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Cane Bay, Nexton, Ridgeville, all surrounded areas of Charleston, If you receive SNAP benefits without Tanf the classes are free. The student would have to travel to Kingstree once to register. Yes we have Tuesday and Thursday weekday classes and Saturday only 9-12 noon classes.

SC Voc Rehab center has funding, Palmetto Goodwill, we have funding, SCWorks, take advantage of this opportunity to receive a trade! No cost to you! Will you get a job?
