UNC Health Lenoir Volunteers Join a group of dedicated volunteers!

Whether you have retired after a long career, are just beginning school, or somewhere in between, volunteer opportunities abound for everyone at UNC Lenoir. We boast over 200 volunteers working in 20-plus departments, and a summer program attracts the talents of 50 students each year. As a UNC Lenoir volunteer, you will have the opportunity to serve in many capacities that benefit patients, visit

ors and the community. Here are some ways you can help:
•Staff the Information Desk
•Deliver Mail & Flowers
•Admit and Discharge Patients
•Aid Families in Surgical Family Waiting Room
•Serve Customers in the Gift Shop
•Provide Snacks to Staff and Patients via the Cheer Cart
•Transport patients via the courtesy golf cart from visitor parking lot to hospital entrance.
•Serve as a member of our Volunteer Leadership Team

We’re so proud of these outstanding young volunteers who shared their time, compassion, and enthusiasm while supporting patients, visitors, and staff throughout our hospital.
