At our recent 16th Anniversary Party we handed out some important awards. We had former award winners talk about the nominees and present this year's winners. For our Community Impact Award Matt Sato presented Cole Graves with the honor. This award goes above and beyond the clinic walls and looks for clinicians that are making a real difference in the community lecturing in classrooms, being on the sidelines of sporting events, work with local non-profits, and assisting in professional outreach events to help promote physical therapy.

This past weekend we had the pleasure of sponsoring the Redmond High School Alumni Run! As you know we have had a relationship with RHS as we a number of Mustang alumni as clinicians in our group. Coach Devin Wulff, PT headed up the activity along with his athletes and fellow coaches. Thanks to all the friends, family, and alumni that participated. Go Stangs!

We recently celebrated our 16th anniversary with our staff, physicians, friends, and family. Our success would not be possible without the tireless work of our clinicians, front office, and back office operations. The communities that we have served have welcomed us warmly and in return we have given them our time, attention, and empathy.

When we started Lake Washington Physical Therapy back in 2010, our vision was simple yet surprising bold: to create a space rooted in genuine, one-on-one care where patients could truly Get Better. We wanted to build a clinic that rejects the factory model and instead focuses on active recovery, connection, and client's goals.

Looking back at what we have built together since 2010 is humbling:
Patient Care: Over 653,000 visits and 51,250 evaluations

Community Impact: Volunteered over 25,000 hours and helped raise more than $375,000 for local charities and causes.

Education & Mentorship: Hosted 153 DPT students, helped 192 employees and shadows get into grad school, and delivered hundreds of lectures, webinars, and blogs.

At our core, LWPT has always been about two things: giving clinicians a platform to treat in a manner that allows them to be their best, and providing avenues for our team to pursue their entrepreneurial and professional goals. Today, our team has grown to 145 total group members, including 75 clinicians with 60% of our staff proudly coming from our former aides, patients, shadows, and DPT interns.

To every single clinician, front desk coordinator, and support team member who brings their absolute best to our clinics, thank you.

Alison Read, Clinic Director at our Fauntleroy clinic, attended the Paradise Party hosted by our friends at The Kenney this past week. Residents dressed for the islands, ate amazing food, and listened to soulful music on the Great Lawn. A big thank you to Alison for spending time sharing the value of physical therapy with the West Seattle community!

Some of our favorite images from last weekend's Kirk-Wood Half!

13.1 miles from Northwest University in Kirkland all the way down the Cross Corridor, Eastrail, and Sammamish River Trail to Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville what an incredible morning watching this community show up and crush their goals!
