Our Madison House residents are back on the road for the next installment of our Troll Tour! This time, we headed out to visit Bruun Idun—one of the incredible trolls tucked away in the Pacific Northwest. 🌲💙

We took a group of our seafaring seniors out for our annual cruise on Lake Washington! After a nice picnic, we boarded our Duffy boat for a relaxing trip along the shoreline.

Carol even got to show us the house where she and her husband once lived. We also enjoyed watching the wildlife, swimmers, and paddleboarders along the way.

We’re already looking forward to next summer when we get to do it again!

Madison House welcomed its fourth member to the Centenarians Club this week! 🎂🎉

Lois celebrated her 100th birthday with cake, music, family, and friends. Since joining our community, she has become a regular at all things word games, and our crossword group wouldn’t be the same without her!

Madison House residents and staff welcomed August with a Summer Shindig! We kicked things off with Good Humor ice cream bars before enjoying Summer Bingo, an old-fashioned cake walk, relay races, and a door prize drawing.

Residents also had the chance to soak the staff during a fun game of "Duck Hunt" with water guns and water balloons.

Last week, we enjoyed a beautiful walk through the UW Japanese Garden with residents, friends, family members, and some of our newest Madison House neighbors. The weather was perfect, and we even caught a surprise flyover from the Blue Angels during a practice flight!

Another troll checked off our Washington Troll Tour!

Our Madison House adventurers enjoyed a beautiful day aboard the ferry as we made our way to Bainbridge Island to visit Pia the Peacemaker, our third troll on this incredible journey.

Pia was the largest troll we've visited so far, and our residents had so much fun taking photos, exploring every detail, and even figuring out what kinds of wood were used to create this amazing work of art. After spending time with Pia, we wrapped up the day with delicious pizza before enjoying a relaxing ferry ride home with beautiful Puget Sound views.

Every stop on our troll tour is about more than finding trolls. It's about creating meaningful experiences, making memories together, and embracing the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

Here's a look back at how Madison House celebrated the Fourth of July! 🇺🇸 Residents enjoyed an all-American picnic with baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, and, most importantly, time spent with family and friends. Our resident-made centerpieces were the stars of the celebration!

We had a fantastic time at our Father's Day Carnival & BBQ!🍔🎡
Residents, families, and friends enjoyed an afternoon of great food, live music, games, and time together. This year was especially special as we welcomed residents from our sister community, Jefferson House, to join in the fun.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the day such a success. Most importantly, we were grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who mean so much to our community.

Happy Father's Day from all of us!
