We recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month and stand with individuals and families affected by domestic violence.

Domestic violence can impact anyone, and its effects often extend far beyond physical harm. It can affect emotional well-being, mental health, relationships and a person's sense of safety and self-worth. Healing takes time, support and access to compassionate care.

This month, we encourage our community to help break the stigma, recognize the signs of abuse and remind survivors that they are not alone. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and supported.

October is Depression Awareness and Mental Health Screening Month.

Depression doesn't always look the way we expect. It can affect the coworker who shows up every day, the friend who checks on everyone else, or the family member who says, "I'm fine" while struggling silently.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating 25 years of advocacy, support and a shared commitment to mental health in our community. Our leadership team and staff were proud to join NAMI Eastside in commemorating this important milestone.

During the event, CEO Patrick Wilder had the opportunity to share a few words about the importance of mental health and the value of Fairfax Behavioral Health's partnership with NAMI Eastside. Together, we are helping connect individuals and families with the education, resources and support they need to navigate mental health challenges and know they are not alone.

We are grateful for organizations like NAMI Eastside that continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve. We’re proud to be part of this partnership and look forward to continuing our work together to strengthen our communities and expand access to mental health resources.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Bullying can have a lasting impact on a young person's confidence, mental health, relationships, and sense of belonging.

Sometimes, the signs are not obvious. A teen may become withdrawn, anxious, angry, isolated, or simply stop acting like themselves.

This month, let's remind our kids that they are seen, heard, and never have to face challenges alone.

At Fairfax Behavioral Health, we offer outpatient services for adolescents who may be struggling with the emotional and mental health challenges associated with bullying, anxiety, depression, and other difficult experiences. Our goal is to provide teens and their families with a safe, supportive environment where they can talk, heal, build healthy coping skills, and move forward.

What a special milestone for Fairfax Behavioral Health and the Lynnwood community! We were honored to celebrate two incredible days of festivities surrounding the Open House and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Branches Lynnwood, a service of Fairfax Behavioral Health, in Lynnwood, Washington. This event marked more than the opening of a new facility. It was a celebration of community, collaboration and expanded access to behavioral health services for individuals and families throughout the region.

We were proud to welcome Fairfax Behavioral Health leadership, Lynnwood Mayor George Hurst, Washington State Representative Lauren Davis and other state and local leaders who joined us for this memorable occasion. Representative Davis has long been a passionate advocate for behavioral health and recovery across Washington, making her participation especially meaningful.

We are also deeply grateful to the community leaders, healthcare professionals, partner organizations, referral sources, friends and neighbors who took the time to attend, tour the new facility and celebrate alongside our team. Their support serves as a powerful reminder that improving behavioral health outcomes requires collaboration, strong community partnerships, reduced barriers to care and a shared commitment to helping people access the services they need.

Branches Lynnwood represents an important step forward in Fairfax Behavioral Health's ongoing commitment to expanding access to compassionate, high-quality behavioral healthcare throughout Washington State.
