June is Men’s Health Month—a time to raise awareness about the importance of physical, mental and emotional well-being for men and boys everywhere. At Fairfax Behavioral Health, we recognize that mental health is an essential part of overall health.

Too often, stigma, societal expectations and misconceptions prevent men from seeking the support they need. This month, we encourage open conversations, self-care and reaching out for help when it’s needed.

Together, we can break down barriers, promote understanding and create a culture where seeking help is encouraged and supported.

Fairfax was honored to host its first Executive Series presentation—an engaging event focused on AI in mental health care. The session was presented by Dr. Anthony R. Pisani, Ph.D., ABPP, a nationally recognized speaker, researcher, and advocate for advancing mental health conversations and care from SafeSide Prevention and the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Dr. Pisani shared valuable insights on the evolving role of AI in behavioral health, the importance of maintaining human connection in care delivery, and how innovation can support clinicians, patients, and communities alike.

Thank you to our community partners who attended and contributed to such a meaningful discussion about the future of mental health care. Fairfax plans to host two to three of these events annually, and we are proud to continue fostering conversations that inspire innovation, collaboration, and compassionate care.

The Fairfax outpatient team has been hard at work over the past several months preparing to launch our Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Granite Falls High School, reinforcing our commitment to expanding access and supporting rural mental health initiatives.

We’re excited to collaborate with the dedicated staff at GFHS to create a supportive space where youth in crisis can access care directly within the school setting.

Today, our team hosted open office hours for GFHS staff, offering an opportunity to meet our clinicians, ask questions and learn more about the services we provide.

Our virtual Adolescent IOP serves youth ages 13+ and offers both daytime and evening programming to accommodate school and family schedules while increasing access to vital mental health support.

Families can call 425‑284‑8280 to schedule an assessment.
