To my amazing clients, friends, the Kirksville and surrounding communities,

This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.

After a great deal of thought, prayer, and reflection, I have made the incredibly difficult decision to place Bare Beauty Aesthetics up for sale.

Over the past several months, many of you have noticed changes in my schedule and availability. I owe you an apology for not being more transparent throughout this process. The truth is, I wasn’t ready to let go. I kept hoping I could somehow make everything work, continue to serve everyone well, and hold onto something that has meant so much to me. In trying to please everyone, I ended up feeling like I was disappointing my clients, my son, and myself.

Living an hour and a half away has made it increasingly difficult to give this business—and all of you—the consistency and presence you deserve. I have always believed that my clients deserve my very best, and I reached a point where I had to be honest with myself about what I could realistically give.

Choosing to step back doesn’t lessen how much I love this profession or how deeply I care about every person who has trusted me with their skin, their confidence, and often their life stories over the last 5½ years.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for supporting a small business. Thank you for allowing me the privilege of caring for Kirksville and the surrounding communities. This business has been one of the greatest blessings of my life, and I will always be grateful for every relationship, every conversation, every laugh, and every milestone we’ve celebrated together.

Although this chapter is coming to a close, I truly believe it’s making room for something new. While it’s bittersweet, I’ve found peace in this decision and am looking forward with gratitude and hope for what’s ahead.

It is my sincere hope that the next owner will continue the legacy of providing exceptional, ethical, and compassionate aesthetic care to this community that I have loved serving.

As we transition, I kindly ask anyone with outstanding gift cards or prepaid services to schedule and complete them within the next 90 days, if possible. This will help ensure that I can honor those commitments while making this transition as smooth as possible for everyone. What you are feeling is called MENDS, microscopic epidermal necrotic debris, which is just your skin pushing out the old damaged cells to make way for the fresh ones underneath. It sounds intense but it is literally your skin doing exactly what it is supposed to do after a laser treatment.
