🐾 Scooby Snacks for everyone!

A huge thank you to Robin from Longevity Health for treating our residents at Kirtland Woods to delicious Scooby Snack ice cream treats! Robin brought along our very own traveling treat truck and went room to room, making sure everyone got to enjoy a sweet surprise. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to our amazing friends at Kirtland Kiwanis! 💙

Our courtyard and patio have been beautifully transformed thanks to the incredible hard work and generosity of this wonderful group. From planting colorful flowers to restoring our pond and even adding fish, they've created a peaceful outdoor space our residents can enjoy for years to come.

A special thank you to Rich, Mike, Mary, Ken, Chuck, Jerry, and Kristen for donating your time and talents to make this project possible. Your kindness means so much to our residents and Care Team!

And we can't forget our honorary project supervisor—a very determined frog who stayed by his pond through the entire renovation, even while the water was drained! He certainly kept a close eye on everything. 🐸😊

Thank you all for helping make Kirtland Woods an even more beautiful place to call home!

Our residents enjoyed a relaxing afternoon filled with painting and refreshments. Each masterpiece was as unique as the artist who created it, making this activity a wonderful opportunity for self-expression and fun.

Our Care Team recently participated in a staff safety training led by our new Maintenance Director, Jordan! He's jumped right into his new role here at Kirtland Woods, helping keep our community safe while making training engaging and fun.

🎨Creativity is on full display!

Our residents, Care Team members, and even our facility physician came together for a fun afternoon of painting colorful rocks. Each one is unique, and together they've created a beautiful rock snake that's now proudly displayed outside our main entrance for everyone to enjoy.

Happy Retirement, Darlene! 💙🎉

After many years of caring for our residents and making a difference at Kirtland Woods, we are celebrating the retirement of our wonderful Nursing Assistant, Darlene!

Her kindness, dedication, and compassionate care have touched the lives of so many, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has done throughout her years of service.

As Darlene begins this exciting new chapter, she looks forward to spending more time with her husband, Carl, their three dogs, and attending classic car shows together.

At Journey, we're grateful for the opportunity to care for those who have helped shape our communities and our country. We honor the veterans, service members, residents, Care Team Members, and families whose stories remind us of the values we celebrate today.
