🤨 Is your baby safe this summer?

📍Strollers heat up on sunny days, which can endanger babies and toddlers.

☀️On a hot Florida day, it may seem useful to cover a stroller with a blanket or other enclosing cover. However, that can significantly raise the temperature around your child by trapping the heat.

💨The key to keeping your child safe from the heat in a stroller is shade and air movement (ex. a fan).

💦 Summer days are made for sunshine, splashing, and making memories! ☀️

Whether you're spending the day at the pool, beach, or lake, a few simple precautions can help keep little ones safe around water. 💙

🏊 Keep these pool safety reminders in mind:

-Always designate a responsible adult to actively watch children around water.
-Keep young children within arm's reach.
-Put phones and other distractions away while supervising.
-Use properly fitted, U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets when needed.
-Teach children never to enter the water without an adult's permission.
-Remember—a child can drown quickly and silently, so active supervision matters.

A sweet OPC supporter generously donated this adorable wooden stork to our center, and now we need your help giving him the perfect name!

He'll have a special place here at OPC, welcoming families and reminding us of the beautiful community that surrounds and supports our mission. But first things first... 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐦?

As we celebrate 250 years since our nation’s birth, there are many reasons to be thankful including the freedom to connect and serve with the families in our community.

🇺🇸 The freedom we enjoy allows Osceola Pregnancy Center to care for those in need and spread the love of God. For this we are grateful, because there is nothing equal to seeing God’s love impact someone’s life!

✝️ We recognize that this freedom is a gift from God.

At Osceola Pregnancy Center, we're looking for bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteers who have a heart to serve women and families in our community. Whether you're greeting clients, providing support, or simply offering a listening ear, your ability to speak both English and Spanish can make a life-changing difference.

As one of our volunteers shares in this video, serving at OPC is more than volunteering—it's an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ while bringing hope, encouragement, and love to those who need it most.

🎉 Celebrating 37 Years of God’s Faithfulness 🎉

Today, we celebrate 37 years of ministry at Osceola Pregnancy Center.

As we look back on nearly four decades of serving women, men, and families in our community, we stand in awe of God’s hand upon this work. Through every challenge, every victory, every life touched, and every family served, His faithfulness has never failed.

What began as a vision to offer hope and support has grown into a ministry that has impacted countless lives. None of this would have been possible without the prayers, generosity, volunteer service, and encouragement of our incredible community. To every donor, volunteer, church partner, advocate, and friend—thank you. Your support has allowed us to be the hands and feet of Christ for 37 years.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that the work is far from finished. Every day, women and families in our community need compassionate support, practical resources, and the hope that comes from knowing they are not alone.
