Heritage Meadows and The Ridge at Heritage Meadows are currently looking to add additional staff to our team...school is back in session and some of our wonderful staff have to change up their schedules.

Ford City: Daylight; Night shift
Kittanning: Daylight; Nigh shift

We are looking for compassionate, fun and respectful individuals for caregiving and/or housekeeping positions.

For caregivers, we can provide on-the-job training but we will also encourage CNAs and LPNs to apply as well.

Our facilities provide the aging-in-place concept that allows for men and women to be able to transition through their physical and cognitive needs as they need increasing levels of care including wheelchairs, transfers, incontinence, feeding, hospice, etc.

This job does require you to be able to lift and transfer some individuals that are unable to do so safely.

Requirements based on the Department of Human Services Licensing:

High school diploma or GED requirement for a caregiving position; criminal background checks required

Applicant may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

**Current medication administration certification and CPR/First Aid/AED a bonus but can provide on the job training**
Candidates with these current certifications and active as a medication technician will have a higher starting wage than those candidates that do not.

Pay based on experience and current certifications/qualifications; competitive pay rates for direct care staff for personal care homes; pay is differentiated based on unlicensed versus licensed and nursing certifications in addition to other current and up-to-date certifications.

Heritage Meadows Personal Care Home, LLC and The Ridge at Heritage Meadows, LLC have positions open for direct caregivers/non-licensed aides.

We also welcome CNAs and can discuss a pay rate for those with current CNA license as well as current medication administration certifications and current CPR/First Aid cards.

Qualified potential employees must possess a GED or High School diploma, be 18 years of age or older, have reliable transportation and submit to drug/alcohol screening and criminal history checks per the DHS Chapter 2600 regulations for personal care facilities.

Our facilities provide 24-hour care including physical assistance, hygiene care, nutritional needs, medication administration and hospice-related care for the geriatric population with diagnoses of dementia/cognitive impairment, heart failure, diabetes, COPD, etc.

Our residents continue to age-in-place as their physical, cognitive and emotional needs increase as they transition to end-of-life care.

Heritage Meadows Personal Care Home, LLC and The Ridge at Heritage Meadows, LLC each have a position open for an ancillary/housekeeper.

This position can be either full or part-time hours.

Responsibilities in this job role include cooking, food preparation, food safety, managing inventory, stocking/unloading supply deliveries, cleaning and sanitation/disinfecting, laundering and management of resident belongings, answering the telephone, participation in social activities of residents and providing a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff along with participating in practicing regulation compliance.

Quality traits for this role include previous experience with food preparation/cooking, safe hygiene practices, working in a team environment along with positive communication skills; previous experience with the geriatric population is a plus as well as reliable time and attendance performance.

Working with the aging population can be an uplifting and rewarding experience to spend time with them and providing them with a safe and healthy environment.
Seeing them smile and light up when you walk through the door is something you have to experience for yourself!

This winter season, it is projected that viruses like the flu, COVID-19 and RSV are going to be at record highs since we went through the pandemic.

Please exercise caution and care when visiting our home.

Handwashing, use of hand-sanitizers and wearing a mask... or....if you have any symptoms like fevers, cough/congestion, body-aches.... please wait to visit until feeling better.
