TODAY: Wednesday, June 10, 2026 5:30pm
Sky Lakes family medicine physician Dr. Stewart Decker is back for another jargon-free discussion on health issues! This month's topic is sleep - a foundational pillar of health, as essential as breathing and nutrition. It acts as a time for critical maintenance, allowing your brain to consolidate memories and flush out toxins, while giving your body a chance to repair cells, regulate hormones, and strengthen your immune system.
Whether you’re looking to better understand risk factors, support a loved one, or simply stay informed, this session is designed to provide clear, accessible insights for everyone. Plus a town-hall-style “patient Q&A” of general questions. (The Q&A is also a great time to suggest future Doc Talk topics!) Like our Lay Person Legal presenters, Dr. Decker’s ability to comment on your specific condition is limited.

“Everyone deserves time to be celebrated, to be the center, to be included and to shine.”
For many, this isn’t just another event on the calendar.
It’s something they plan for. Something they show up for. Something they remember long after it’s over.

🐾☕ One of Oliver's favorite stops during his visits around Sky Lakes is Sky Brew. While making his rounds, he became especially fond of one of the smiling faces behind the counter—Ana.

When she wasn't serving coffee, Ana was hard at work pursuing her dream of a healthcare career as an Oregon Tech ultrasound student. Now, she's taking the next step on that journey as she heads off to Idaho to complete her ultrasound internship.

Congratulations, Ana! We're proud of all you've accomplished and wish you the very best as you move one step closer to becoming a healthcare professional. Oliver—and all of us at Sky Lakes—will miss your smiling face! ❤️🎓☕🐾

At Night to Shine, what stands out isn’t just the event, it’s how people show up for each other.
Friends, families, volunteers, all in the same space, all part of what makes the night what it is.
It’s a reminder that moments like this don’t happen on their own.
