Transformation's business office and outpatient services will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial day. We will be back in on Tuesday for our normal business hours.

Memorial Day is a reminder of the brave men and women who served our country and gave their lives for our freedom.

It's not just a day off; it's a time to think about why we remember these heroes. For veterans, it's a chance to honor those who are no longer here.

Use this day to show how grateful we are for their bravery, and as a promise that we'll always remember their courage and sacrifice.

Thank you.

"Heroisim doesn't always happen in a burst of glory. Sometimes small triumphs and large hearts change the course of history."
- Mary Roach

Have a safe weekend!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month

90% of children who have been sexually abused are abused by people they know - people that they are supposed to be able to trust, by people who are supposed to love them, by people who live in their homes and work in the spaces that are supposed to be safe.

Abuse doesn’t always come from strangers.

If you are a survivor, please know that your story is valid, your pain is real, and what happened to you was never your fault.

Healing is never linear.

Some days you will feel healed, ready to move on, strong. Ready to forgive.
And some days you will run in to a trigger that leaves you a mess on the floor, unable to deal with or process anything.
This is normal. Your journey of healing will take time. But you can do it.

We believe you. I believe you.

If you or someone you know needs help, you are not alone. Contact a therapist, call your local advocacy center, or contact the National Sexual Assault Hotline: 1-800-656-HOPE (4673)

You can also reach out to us, we can provide you resources to help you along your healing journey

ATTENTION: Tomorrow, March 24th, from noon until we are out, the Food Bank will be hosting a pop up free bread market open to everyone in our community. It will contain bread and potatoes. Please bring your own bags. We will be set up in the Klamath County Fairgrounds parking lot. Look for our box truck.

We have been blessed with an overabundance of these items due to the generosity of our local stores and community partners and we want to share them with you.

Addiction is not a sign of weakness. It's not a character flaw or a moral failure. It is a condition that affects millions of people of all ages, backgrounds, and socioeconomic groups. The causes of addiction may vary, but the end result is always the same. Pain, fear, and regret. Just know that there is always hope. No matter how far you have fallen, addiction can be treated and your life can improve.

If you find yourself lost in alcohol or drugs, reaching out for help can be hard. You’ve probably tried several times to handle this by yourself, but the problem is just too big to tackle without help. The phone feels too heavy to pick up and you don’t want to burden anyone with your shameful secret. You continue to fall further and each time you reach a new low point, it seems even more impossible to find your way out

Please. Shut that voice down - you know that voice, the one that fills your head with doubt and fear. Reach out to someone, anyone. Even the smallest movement towards seeking a healthier life is a giant step in your recovery.

Take that step, you deserve it!

Remember: addiction is not a lack of willpower or a sign that you are a bad person. Treatment is possible, but no one will get you there or do the work except yourself. Reach out, in any way you can.

If you are ready to take that step to freedom - to walk towards a life free of addiction and pain - call us. We are here for you and we will walk beside you. You are NOT alone.

🖤 March 6th is Black Balloon Day. 🖤

Today, we remember the lives lost to overdose

Black Balloon Day offers us a day that serves as both a tribute to those we’ve lost and a call to action, shining a spotlight on the ongoing overdose crisis and the urgent need for expanded prevention, harm reduction, and recovery resources.

We will never forget.

Diane & Lauren Hurley started Black Balloon Day on March 6, 2016 in remembrance of their family member Greg Trimblay. Greg was 38 and a father of 4 who died from an overdose on March 6, 2015.

On an average, more than 53 Oregonians die every month from an Opioid overdose.

In Oregon, 1443 lives were lost to overdose in 2024.

One of the hardest parts of being on the battlefront in this war are days like today, days that we remember every name, every face that has walked through our doors, who have later passed from this terrible disease of addiction.

🖤I remember each one of you: your face, your name, your story. I will not forget🖤

We honor the memories of those we have lost and we work to help those who are still struggling.
We pray for the families and friends left behind.

By sharing our stories and connecting as a community, we can help break the stigma surrounding addiction and work toward meaningful change.

We do recover.

It is seeing people recover and become the person that they were meant to be that keeps us fighting.

There is hope in the midst of blackness.

🖤🖤🖤
Call us. We can help.

March is National Social Work Month, a time to honor the over 680,000+ dedicated professionals who provide essential services, advocacy, and support to individuals, families, and communities, especially during times of crisis. The 2026 campaign theme, "Social Work: Uplift. Defend. Transform.," emphasizes the critical role social workers play in strengthening society.
