At KBBH, our values of dignity, stewardship, hope, diversity, and integrity guide how we serve our community and care for one another. During Pride Month, we honor the importance of building communities where people feel welcome, supported, and connected. That includes our staff, the people we serve, their families, and neighbors across the Basin.

Research shows that LGBTQ+ young people experience higher rates of depression, anxiety, and su***de risk. Not because of who they are, but because of stigma, discrimination, and a lack of support. The Trevor Project’s 2024 national survey found that 39 percent of LGBTQ+ youth seriously considered su***de in the past year. When a young person has even one supportive, affirming adult in their life, their risk of su***de is significantly lower. That connection matters. This Pride Month, we reaffirm the simple belief that everyone belongs here.

“We meet the client where they are without judgment. Offering each individual a glimpse of hope, and that tomorrow can be better.”

Because even in a crisis, more good days are possible.
