UV rays can affect your eyes year round, even when summer is coming to an end. When choosing sunglasses, look for lenses that provide 100% UVA and UVB protection to help keep your eyes protected whenever you're outdoors.

Too much screen time? You're not alone. 👀💻

Whether you're heading back to school or back to the office, our eyes are spending more time on digital devices than ever before. Long hours in front of screens can lead to digital eye strain, causing tired eyes, headaches, blurred vision, and dryness.

A simple way to give your eyes a break is to follow the 20 • 20 • 20 Rule:
👀 Every 20 minutes
📍 Look at something 20 feet away
⏱️ For 20 seconds

Small habits can make a big difference in keeping your eyes comfortable throughout the day.

If you're experiencing ongoing eye strain or it's time for your annual exam, we're here to help.

☀️ Your skin isn't the only thing that needs protection this summer.

UV rays can affect your eyes every day, even when it's cloudy outside.

A quality pair of sunglasses with 100% UVA and UVB protection helps shield your eyes from harmful exposure while keeping your vision healthy for years to come.

Whether you're at the beach, by the pool, or simply enjoying a walk outside, don't forget to protect your eyes.

Most people never think twice about protecting their eyes from the sun.

But just like your skin, your eyes are exposed to UV rays every time you step outside.

Long term UV exposure can contribute to eye health issues over time, making quality sunglasses more important than just a fashion accessory.

This summer, make eye protection part of your daily routine. Your future vision will thank you.

Vision changes rarely happen overnight.

They tend to show up in small ways first.

Maybe you find yourself squinting more often. Holding your phone a little closer. Struggling to see clearly while driving at night. Feeling eye strain after a long day.

These subtle changes are easy to overlook, but they can be your eyes telling you it is time for an exam.

A comprehensive eye exam can help detect changes early and keep your vision performing at its best.

Schedule your appointment with The Eye Institute today.

✈️☀️ Summer adventures are calling, but don’t forget about your eye health along the way.

Travel can be tough on your eyes. Long flights, dry cabin air, sunscreen, pool water, and changing environments can all affect contact lens comfort.

A few simple habits can help keep your eyes feeling fresh and comfortable wherever your summer plans take you:

💧 Stay hydrated
👓 Pack extra lenses and solution
🏊 Avoid swimming while wearing contacts
🕶️ Protect your eyes from UV exposure

Taking care of your eyes while traveling helps you enjoy every destination with clear, comfortable vision.
