It’s been a little while since our last Team Member Tuesday, and we’re excited to bring it back! πŸŽ‰

We are excited to introduce Violeta Zea Quispe, PTA πŸ˜„

Hometown: Originally from Peru, but now resides in Higginsville, MO

Alma Mater: Metropolitan Community College - Penn Valley

Hobbies: spending time with her family and traveling ✈

Violeta chose to work at KNPT because of its positive atmosphere and welcoming environment. She heard many great things about KNPT from friends who have received treatment; her own experience reinforcing that impression. Based on these experiences she believed that KNPT is an excellent place where she can continue to learn, grow professionally, and provide high quality care to her patients.

We're grateful to have Violeta join our growing team! πŸ‘πŸΌ

We were blown away by the turnout and so grateful for every community member who showed up ready to learn, grow, and connect. The energy in the room was amazing!

A huge thank you to Meghan, Kris, Kelley, and Andersyn for sharing their knowledge, leading meaningful conversations, and creating such a valuable experience for everyone who attended.

We love seeing our community come together, support one another, and continue learning side by side. Thank you to everyone who joined usβ€”we can’t wait for the next one! ✨

In this week's Know PT with K**b PT video, Anterior Oblique Sling Downward Chop, Physical Therapist Alyssa Nelsen demonstrates a diagonal downward chopping exercise that strengthens the anterior oblique sling through controlled rotational movement. Alyssa explains how the exercise can be modified for a variety of mobility levels or progressed from half-kneeling to standing and even single-leg positions, allowing individuals to safely build strength and stability at their own pace.

Once you've developed good core control with the dead bug movement shared last week, it's time to progress. In this week's Know PT with K**b PT video, Anterior Oblique Sling Modified Crunches, Physical Therapist Alyssa Nelsen demonstrates how to do modified crunches by combining resistance with a diagonal reaching pattern.
