When Hickory House Recovery made the decision to expand from Greenfield and open a new location in Knox, Indiana, they needed a leader with vision, passion, and a deep commitment to helping those affected by addiction. They found that leader in Kristi Chervenak, Executive Director of Hickory House Recovery – Knox.
Kristi has dedicated her career to serving individuals, families, and communities impacted by substance use disorder. Throughout her years of recovery-focused work, she has developed a passion for helping people find hope, healing, and a path forward. She understands that addiction affects entire families, and she believes that recovery can restore not only individuals but entire support systems.
When Kristi accepted the Executive Director position, she wasn’t stepping into a fully operational facility with an established team. She was stepping into a building and a vision. Through determination, hard work, and unwavering dedication, she helped transform that vision into a thriving recovery center.
In less than a year, Kristi has built an incredible team of compassionate professionals who share her commitment to changing lives. She has created a culture of hope, accountability, teamwork, and genuine care for every resident who walks through the doors of Hickory House Recovery.
