Dear Milk and Honey Family,
It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the upcoming closure of Milk and Honey Lactation Services. This was not a decision that we reached easily, and it comes after much consideration and difficult deliberation.
Since Milk and Honey began, our goal has always been to provide heartfelt and compassionate care to families during their most vulnerable and precious times. Unfortunately, leading with our hearts, while fulfilling, has not always provided a sufficient return on investment to sustain the practice long-term, and this year has presented significant and unforeseen financial challenges for both small businesses like ours and the families we serve. We have truly cherished the opportunity to support each of your families through the postpartum period, offering guidance, encouragement, and care, and we are profoundly grateful for the trust you have placed in us to be a part of your journey. Your families mean the world to us, and the relationships we've built are something we will always value.
Our last day of operation will be Friday, June 13th. Leading up to this date, please note that each provider will be managing their existing schedules individually to accommodate this transition as smoothly as possible for everyone involved. Your individual lactation consultant will be in touch regarding any scheduled appointments. If you have not heard from a provider, you can assume your appointment is still happening as scheduled.
Moving forward, to ensure that you continue to receive the support you need, we are recommending Dragonfly Lactation in Farragut for both new inquiries and ongoing care. We believe their commitment to families align with our own. Kendall will be seeing patients there and is happy to continue supporting you and your little ones.
