About Us:
Tennessee Neuropsychology offers neuropsychological assessments and a variety of services, all relating to neurobehavioral functioning. Our services include evaluations for Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, dementia, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, depression, behavioral and personality conditions, and more. Dr. Spica also frequently conducts neuropsychological examinations for forensic uses, such as fitness-for-duty, civil, and criminal proceedings. Our primary age range of clients is from age 4 through the elder population.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a graduate-level testing technician who is dedicated and eager to learn. This position is an opportunity for a graduate student or professional seeking supervision and training in neuropsychological assessment to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in psychology and a keen interest in further developing their knowledge of psychological testing and diagnostic skills in an outpatient setting. This position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development under the mentorship of experienced psychologists.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and score a wide range of psychological tests and measures for child, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients.
• Assist in clinical documentation by recording detailed and organized notes during clinical interviews.
• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
• Support clinic operations through administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, photocopying, scanning files, preparing materials, and completing data entry.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in psychology or a related field – OR – current enrollment in a master’s degree or doctoral program (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) in psychology or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills and strong work ethic.
• Clean judicial history.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong foundation in psychological assessment, including cognitive, personality, and neuropsychological testing.
• Experience working with a wide range of populations and neuropsychological measures. However, training and supervision will be provided to fill gaps in experience.
