Nausea and vomiting aren’t always what we think of when we hear “flu,” but they can happen with influenza, especially in children. Right now, AFC is seeing patients with Flu A who are experiencing stomach symptoms along with other flu symptoms.

If you or your child suddenly develops nausea, vomiting, fever, body aches, fatigue, cough, or other flu-like symptoms, AFC can help with evaluation and testing to get a better idea of what’s going on.

A scratchy throat can come with a cold, flu, or other illness, but a sore throat can also be a sign of strep. Strep throat may cause a sudden sore throat, pain when swallowing, fever, swollen lymph nodes, and red or swollen tonsils.
