Your greatest need or deficit is actually the greatest opportunity to create community with others. Be brave, dare to put pride and self reliance aside and ask someone for help. Let's build a better community as we tear down the walls of pride in various forms.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
We remember the firefighters who climbed the stairs while others were coming down. The police officers, paramedics, and rescue workers who ran toward danger. The passengers and crew of Flight 93 who showed extraordinary bravery. And the thousands of innocent lives whose families were forever changed that day.
May we never forget their names, their courage, their sacrifice, and the way our nation came together in the days that followed.
In remembrance. In honor. In unity.
We will never forget.

Dr. Bert continues a discussion on the topic of community. Fear of Man, fear of not measuring up in the minds of others is a huge enemy when pursuing a healthy community. The challenge is to be brave and be comfortable in uncomfortable vulnerable circumstances such as sharing a need you have with others and asking for help. The reality is we all need each other.

A Massage Therapist brings a unique advantage to the Chiropractic Assistant role. With hands-on knowledge of muscles and soft tissue, they can better identify areas of tightness and tension and communicate valuable insight to the chiropractor—helping provide a more complete picture of what may be causing a patient’s discomfort.
