❤️ Community in Action! ❤️

A special thank you to the amazing volunteers from Faith Promise Church – Farragut Campus for partnering with the KAPA Kitchen during this year’s Win the City weekend!

Volunteers packed hygiene bags that will be distributed to individuals and families throughout our community. These essential items are especially important because hygiene products cannot be purchased with EBT benefits, making them difficult for many families to afford.

At the KAPA Kitchen, we believe everyone deserves access to nutritious food, basic necessities, and the dignity they provide.

Thank you, Faith Promise Church, for helping make East Tennessee a healthier, more compassionate place to live. Together, we’re making a difference—one act of kindness at a time.

KAPA Kitchen Food Pantry Needs Your Help!
We're currently in need of a few everyday staples to help keep our shelves stocked for families in our community.

Most needed items:

These simple items make a big difference in providing nutritious food for those we serve.

The KAPA Kitchen is need of hygiene products to help families stay healthy and cared for. While food is essential, personal care items are just as important—and often harder for families to afford.
🧼 We’re collecting items such as:
Soap & body wash
Shampoo & conditioner
Deodorant
Razors & shaving cream
Toothpaste & toothbrushes
Toilet paper
Every donation—big or small—makes a meaningful difference. 💙

HELP!!! VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

As summer arrives, many of our regular student volunteers are away from school, leaving a critical gap in the support that keeps the KAPA Kitchen running smoothly.
We're calling on businesses, civic groups, churches, organizations, clubs, and community teams to step up and lend a hand this summer! Whether you can volunteer for a few hours, a day, or organize a group service project, your support will make a real difference for families facing food insecurity in our community.
Every volunteer helps us sort donations, stock shelves, prepare food distributions, and ensure that our neighbors have access to the nutritious food they need.
🤝 Gather your coworkers, members, friends, or team and join us!
📞 To schedule a volunteer opportunity or learn more, contact Kandice at 865-531-2766, ext. 2550.
Together, we can keep the KAPA Kitchen serving those who need us most all summer long.
