💡Since 2000, the world has cut the drowning rate by 38%!

Today is World Drowning Prevention Day and we've got some tips to help keep your kids safe this summer and beyond when around water. 💜

Help us celebrate our amazing Referral Coordinator, Sarah! Today she's been part of the Shults Fam for ELEVEN years! 😮 We are so thankful for how she takes care of our patients and ensures referrals are done in a timely manner! Increasing awareness about allergies on this World Allergy Day! 💜

Every July 8th, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Allergy Organization team up for this day to highlight the different allergies.

💡1 in 13 children have a diagnosed food allergy
💡1 in 5 children live with a diagnosed seasonal allergy
💡Kiddos ages 6-17 are more likely to have environmental allergies, compared to young toddlers and infants

✨There are eight top food allergens. It is recommended for children under the age of 1 be exposed to all 8 before their first birthday to assist in tolerances.
✨Symptoms for food and environmental allergies are similar and include: runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, itchy throat and cough.

If you suspect your child could have a potential allergy, give us a call to talk with our nurses about concerns and treatment options. 💜

Help us wish our amazing RN, Jessica the happiest birthday today! She is always willing to help any way she can and is always available to keep us laughing. Jessica cares deeply for our patients, their families and all of us! We are so lucky to have her on our team. One of our co-workers shares how much we all love her:
