What does a chiropractor care about besides your spine? A lot.

For this Movement Monday, we’re looking at three pieces of healthy movement:

→ Inverted Row = Strength
Builds the upper back and supporting muscles that help with posture and everyday movement.

→ RFE Split Squat = Balance
Challenges single-leg strength, stability, coordination, and control.

→ Thoracic Adductor Rockback = Mobility
Works hip mobility while encouraging movement and rotation through the upper back.

Chiropractic care is only one part of the picture. Strength, balance, mobility, and healthy joint movement all work together to help your body function at its best.

📌 Save this as your reminder that movement is more than just exercise.

Strength training is not just about looking fit.

Muscle plays a major role in how your body handles blood sugar, energy, aging, bone health, brain fog, sleep quality, and overall metabolism.

That means building strength is not just a fitness goal.

It is a health tool.

You do not have to start extreme. You do not need the perfect gym routine. You do not need to already “be in shape.”

Start simple.
Walk.
Lift something.
Use resistance bands.
Do bodyweight movements.
Build consistency.

Your future body will thank you for the muscle you build now.

Save this if you needed the push to start strength training, and follow Innate Wellness for more whole-body wellness tips.

Your tight neck might need more than a quick stretch.

Game days can mean heat, walking, standing, sweating, salty foods, drinks, and not nearly enough water. By the time the weekend is over, dehydration can show up in more ways than just feeling thirsty.

For some people, it can add to muscle tension, especially through the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

Dr. Talley is breaking down why hydration matters for recovery and why that tight, stiff feeling after a long day may be connected to more than posture alone.

The fix does not have to be complicated: drink water, replenish electrolytes, keep your body moving, and pay attention when tension keeps coming back.

If your neck and shoulders feel tight after every busy weekend, we’re right here in Knoxville to help with chiropractic care and recovery support.

Start hydrating today, it’s going to be a hot one!

If you’ve ever felt nervous about chiropractic adjustments, this may be a great option to know about.

A drop table adjustment is often used as a gentler technique. Certain sections of the table lift slightly, then softly drop during the adjustment to help assist the movement. This allows Dr. Talley to use less force while still targeting the area that needs support.

For many patients, that means an adjustment that feels:
→ more comfortable
→ more controlled
→ less intimidating

Chiropractic care is not one-size-fits-all, and techniques like the drop table can be a helpful option for people who want a lighter approach.

Questions about getting adjusted? We’re happy to walk you through it. STOP ON BY!

If your sleep is off, your body is going to feel it everywhere.

Energy.
Mood.
Cravings.
Brain fog.
Recovery.
Stress.
Hormone rhythm.

And here is the part people forget: better sleep does not start the second your head hits the pillow.

It starts with your rhythm throughout the day.

Morning light, balanced meals, movement, blood sugar support, less screen time at night, dim lights, a consistent bedtime, herbal tea, and a real wind-down routine can all make a difference.

Your body loves a rhythm.

If you are doing “all the right things” but still waking up exhausted, it may be time to look deeper.

Save this post for tonight, and follow Innate Wellness for more root-cause health tips.

At some point you have probably twisted in your chair, heard a satisfying crack, and felt an instant wave of relief wash through your back.

Tailgating… or playing all 4 quarters? GBO.

Football weekends are fun, but your body can feel them.

Long days on your feet, walking around Knoxville, sitting in bleachers, carrying chairs and coolers, cheering, driving, and running on less water than usual can all add up. By the time Monday hits, that stiffness, soreness, and “why does my whole body hurt?” feeling is not always random.

That is where recovery matters.

At Innate Wellness, we offer chiropractic care and recovery options to help support movement, reduce tension, and get your body feeling better after busy weekends.

Because you should be able to enjoy game day without needing a full recovery week after.

We are right here in Knoxville and ready to help you get ahead of the post-weekend soreness before football season is in full swing.

DM us or call to schedule your recovery visit.

Recovery is a BIG part of what we do at Innate.

Whether you’re running, lifting, golfing, working on your feet all day, dealing with an old issue, or simply trying to stay active — how well your body moves and recovers matters.

Your plan may include:
→ Chiropractic care to support movement and function
→ Physiotherapy and soft-tissue work
→ Mobility and recovery support
→ Guidance for staying active
→ Physician-guided recovery peptides when appropriate

Peptides aren’t a replacement for proper evaluation, rehab, or taking care of your body. They’re simply another potential tool within a bigger recovery plan.

You shouldn’t have to stop doing the things you enjoy just because your body isn’t keeping up.

Let’s work on keeping you moving.
