Today, East Tennessee Spine & Sport had the opportunity to visit the University of Tennessee’s Facilities Services Wellness Fair!

We spent the day talking with UT employees about the physical demands of their jobs, ways to stay active and help prevent injuries while working, and how physical therapy can help keep them moving and feeling their best. We also answered questions about PT and shared a little about ETSS and our history of serving East Tennessee for more than 30 years.

We love opportunities like this to get out into our community, have meaningful conversations and be a resource for the people who keep Knoxville running.

🎪 Career Carnival at Pellissippi State

Yesterday, East Tennessee Spine & Sport spent the afternoon at Pellissippi State Community College, talking with students about careers in physical therapy and the broader healthcare field.

We loved connecting with underclassmen, answering questions and sharing a look at where a career in PT can take them. Of course, we also had plenty of swag, games and even got a pick with the mascot!

Being part of the East Tennessee community means more to us than providing great physical therapy. It means showing up, building relationships and being a resource for the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Thank you to Pellissippi State for having us! We’re always excited to invest in the students who could one day become our colleagues. 💙

Today Pri led an educational session at our Bearden clinic to introduce East Tennessee Spine & Sport’s Parkinson’s Disease/LSVT BIG program to clinicians from across our company.

The presentation gave our team a deeper understanding of treating Parkinson’s disease while helping therapists work toward LSVT BIG certification. As we continue expanding this specialized program, we’re strengthening our ability to provide evidence-based care for people living with Parkinson’s disease.

ETSS ATHLETE, CHAMPION SPOTLIGHT: Dr. Aslynn HW

We recently had the opportunity to celebrate one of our incredible patients, Dr. Aslynn HW, after an outstanding performance at the 14th Annual Tartan Day South Highland Games & Celtic Festival in Columbia, SC! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Aslynn earned 1st Place in the Women’s Open Division… and yes, her trophy was an actual sword. 🗡️ We’d say that’s a well-earned prize!

Whether she’s competing under Clan Anderson or inspiring young athletes through her work with KidStrong, Aslynn exemplifies strength, dedication, and resilience. It was a privilege to play a small role in helping her stay competition-ready.
